Show IS a spoiler. Like rotted meat, stench of this poorly acted and Olympic bad writing overwhelms every scene shot.

Should have save the money and continue Stargate Atlantis, no in this Origins Shows...

Each episode is less than 13 minutes including the credits. It is 95% bad and slow dialogue and 5% plot progression.For a production like this having 296 reviews after 5 episodes is amazing. This show has such huge fan base, which is probably what allowed the show to get to episode 5 in the first place. I just wish that that the fans would have been rewarded for their loyalty to the franchise by getting a good show instead of whatever this is.

What the other reviewers say is true, the acting isn't great and the special effects look like they came from a fan film, but altogether I thought the premise wasn't that bad.The writers clearly know the stargate franchise very well and didn't have a lot to work with, so I feel like we shouldn't be too hard on them. The story actually did make an effort to deal with some of the plot holes of the original film (not that the 1994 stargate film was what made the franchise great anyway).Odds are this will either be the last stargate or the last as the old fans knew it, so honestly I'm just glad we have this much. I sincerely hope these poor reviews, however deserved, don't prevent MGM from making another series.
