I must admit the Star Wars prequel trilogy was a little underwhelming (with the exception of Revenge of the Sith), but as the middle between Attack of the Clones and that aforementioned film, this really works. We get to see battles between the droid and the clone armies as well as Jedi action. As the brainchild and joint result of Genndy Tartakovsky and Lucasfilm, this was the best pre-Disney prequel involving the Clone Wars. We also get to hear the voices of Grey DeLisle (who would later voice Azula from Avatar: The Last Airbender) and James Arnold Taylor (who is one of the many actors to portray Obi-Wan Kenobi apart from Ewan McGregor and the late Alec Guinness). But this doesn't skimp on the action and the talk scenes aren't as much as the prequel trilogy. Let's see if you can find a complete series. Or hopefully they'll release a blu-ray complete series set. Please?

Star Wars: Clone Wars is the only micro-series to come from the Star Wars name, and it's a very entertaining series that condenses all we've loved from The Original Trilogy: all packed into 20 two-to-three minute episodes in Volume 1, and 5 twelve-minute ones in Volume 2.Cartoon Network proved its worth just from obtaining the Star Wars name alone, and this payed off significantly for them as they got the 'sequel' series to this: Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which would be computer animated and air from 2008-2014. Both Clone Wars shows give the fans what they want: lightsaber action, dogfights in space, and smooth, smooth editing.Short and sweet as can be, this show is.

This is a short and quick review, and my personal opinion. This show to me is without a doubt, the best thing ever, that has the Star Wars name on it. Period. After watching this, I was all excited to see the final movie, Episode 3. And... Obiwan kills Grevious in like 5 seconds in a lame ass fight. I was traumatically disappointed. Whats the point of the cartoon series, where they hype up the villain to be a major threat, only to just kill him off like a total wuss?Im not a big Star Wars fan, or even a fan at all. But this series was great. If you haven't seen it, then you owe it to yourself to check it out. Its very worth it, much more than any of the movies.

I hoped for nice Star Wars Cartoon with a nice story, good drawings and kool characters. But instead I got this...I think everything about this movie was really bad. The whole style how it is painted.. it reminds me of some old Hanna Barberba Cartoons. The story was like.. I can't even say what exactly has been the story just by watching this "cartoon". You have to watch at least Star Wars Episode 2 to understand a little whats going on.The Action was about 95% of this whole cartoon. And this action was really annoying because it always happened the same thing. Bang bang here, bang bang here, if you would count the shots I think there will be about 2000 or more. There was practically no dialogue.I recommend to keep your fingers away from this B-Movie Action Cartoon drawn like a mix of Heavy Metal Fakk 1 and the Jetsons.
