As an eleven-year-old back in '08, I didn't have many opportunities to see any Star Wars movies in theaters. I was a huge fan of A New Hope, and I enjoyed the prequels, but they were all home video experiences (with the exception of Attack of the Clones, but I was too young to remember it or get excited over it.So when I first saw trailers for Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which was going to premiere as a feature film in theaters, I became excited. I enjoyed the movie at the time, but as I grew older, I began realizing that it was a three episode arc squashed together to form a movie, and it was more lackluster than I had remembered.I fell in love with the character of Ahsoka Tano (maybe literally, with my eleven-year-old mind still in the early stages of maturing) since she was finally a character around my age, a character I could relate to.The subsequent show started off okay, but as seasons 2, 3, and 4 came and went, I missed out on a lot of it as I focused on being an adolescent for a while. But still...The Clone Wars reinvigorated my dormant love for Star Wars. When the promos for season 5 debuted, I became intrigued again, especially with the return of Darth Maul. So I binge-watched it. Since I was older, I began appreciating the show more, with its nods to other movies like Apocalypse Now and Seven Samurai. I began to appreciate the deep themes of betrayal, war, political upheaval, corruption, and war profiteering. Then came the ending of season 5. Ahsoka rejected her reinstatement into the Jedi Order and walked off into the sunset, possibly never to be seen again. Shortly after that, the Disney acquisition resulted in its ultimate cancellation, but the company was gracious enough to put the series and "The Lost Missions" on Netflix. I appreciate it more than ever today. Now it's coming back. Whether or not it's limited to just a few episodes, I don't know. But I hope that it'll come back for at least another two seasons to finish off everything that Dave Filoni and his magnificent cast and crew had lined up. It's a fantastic show that may seem to be made for children on the surface...but on the inside, it's so much more.

This show is amazing. The animation is beautifully made, the character developments are pretty good. Some of the Jedi that have no dialogue in the movies are important characters here. The first two seasons are not that great because it's most of the time, war against general grievous but from season 3 and forward, it becomes one of the best star wars materials since empire strikes back.I recommend watching it in "chronological order" or "ultimate order" because some episodes are out of order because the show was made to be some kind of standalone episode thing (because it was a TV show and some people just cant watch every episode without missing something. But if you watch it in order, it becomes a normal show (starting from season 3).This show will make you like the clones, get to know more Jedi and you will understand how palatine was able to turn the republic into the Galactic empire.

I mean its like the author took time to pick out all the details left out in the main movie that fit in place with this animation series.he finds a way to let us see and understand what happened and led to some certain unforeseen events like the slowly turning of Anikin Skywalker to lord Vader which was clearly not covered in the movie. wow, Lucas film does it as he always has, cant find a way to appreciate that guy for all the imagination he has fed the world. i guess what viewers are anticipating mostly at this point is his next movie, the force awakens. I wonder if the Jedi will return or will this be an entirely new plot for the viewers. it would be nice to come with a fitting conclusion though I fear this isn't happening anytime sooner since its clear that this will be a trilogy set

This is a great T.V show and will bring many hours of enjoyment to people who are Star Wars fans and ones that are not.People under appreciate this great series of stories! First of all, character development is fantastic and after a few episodes you will be hooked! There are a few boring episodes but the ratio of good episodes to bad, have the good outweighing the bad 5:1. The voice acting on this show is great and the ties it makes with the Star Wars universe is a nice nod to Star Wars fans. The last season they made was the best of all and with the addition of old and new characters I strongly advise watching this T.V series.
