I like to review things with a single sentence. But love this show too much to sum it up with only one sentence. The most recent Star Wars movies will lead you to believe there is not much potential in this galaxy. But this series proves that with a big enough imagination, anything is possible. From Political Drama, to Brutal Warfare, to Slapstick Comedy, You will find everything in this show.

This show is amazing. The animation is beautifully made, the character developments are pretty good. Some of the Jedi that have no dialogue in the movies are important characters here. The first two seasons are not that great because it's most of the time, war against general grievous but from season 3 and forward, it becomes one of the best star wars materials since empire strikes back.I recommend watching it in "chronological order" or "ultimate order" because some episodes are out of order because the show was made to be some kind of standalone episode thing (because it was a TV show and some people just cant watch every episode without missing something. But if you watch it in order, it becomes a normal show (starting from season 3).This show will make you like the clones, get to know more Jedi and you will understand how palatine was able to turn the republic into the Galactic empire.

This is soo awesome, its like watching so many new movies and trust me I know and love all movies in Star Wars franchise very well, (yes first three including) Perhaps this is one of best proves how first three movie prequels which got so much unfair low ratings and attacks on genius as is Lucas himself (specially that awful low IQ song about him GL raped our childhood..)made more than enough sense ! If he made Star Wars (are those fools who attack Him aware He is Creator of Star Wars ??!!) in the first place,of course he would knew very well how to make prequels as well !! SO they are same level loved by me as 4,5,6 episodes are ! And then he made animated CLone Wars (2008),I didn't watch them yet before now cause I didn't expect cartoons to be of any interest for me. But I gave it a try and I am soo impressed, wow what a gem ! There is action filled with emotions, great effects..and awesome stories, so so good ! No doubt about highest rating here for me ! I also watched briefly SW Rebels and they are also awesome but not so much as Clone Wars for me, probably cause CW was directed still by Georce the Boss Lucas and Rebels are not (but still great animation series) So I am changing big time my concepts that animations cannot be entertaining, they can even more than movie if well made !! I hope many more enjoy this as much as I do :-))

Star Wars: The Clone Wars is a well made and well directed show that expands upon the classic movies before it, and it mends the wounds The Prequel Trilogy inflicted for many longtime fans of the franchise. The show isn't always smooth-sailing: some of the episodes focusing on too much on politics of 'Trade Negotiations' and 'Separatist *stuff*' can become tedious like these subplots; that were in The Phantom Menace.Despite some of the inherent flaws of The Prequels, The Clone Wars doesn't get weighed down by its unfortunate burden; it makes new stories more relevant to The Original Trilogy than many fans saw coming, like cryptic clues about what's to come in Episode IV: such as the power of the force, the afterlife of Jedis and the impending doom The Dark Side may unleash if The Republic doesn't fight back against The Sith Lords. The Clone Wars can afford to expand upon areas where The Prequel films could not do before: thanks to the flexibility of television serial-storytelling. There's breathing room for the story arcs to come full circle and leave you satisfied with what's to come. We see a lot of classic Star Wars stuff that sometimes teeters between plot-relevance to fan-service, but most of it is all there for a reason and does not go to waste. This show is what Star Wars fans have been wanting since The Prequel Trilogy finished; and even up against the newly released Star Wars Rebels cartoon it still holds up very well.
