I'm an avid watcher of crime series from anywhere in the world and always give an Australian show a good chance, but this show is terrible. It reminded me of Crawford's Homicide from the 50s - corny script, wooden acting esp Rachel Griffiths who looks ill at ease in such a mediocre show considering her acting credentials. Justine Clarke easily steals the show in her portrayal of a modern-day bimbo , so against her usual goody-two shoes parts.
... View MoreThis is a head scratcher! The plot was reasonable, the cast was okay, the filming wasn't annoying. I was hoping to enjoy it but it fell short. I just can't quite put my finger on what was missing. Perhaps the direction and the lead character played by Rachel Griffiths........I just don't know! I'm normally not a fence sitter and can rattle off all the pros and cons with ease but urgh.......I just don't know why this show failed to impress. In a word "one dimensional " , or two!
