Viewer beware the swathe of positive reviews on IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes that spontaneously came out when this film was released. This is truly awful. The plot is dire, the acting dreadful - there is nothing to recommend it. The film was produced in cooperation with the Turkish Ministry of Tourism and Turkish Airlines and is a shameless video postcard for the country. I got mugged by the positive reviews and we selected this as a family film to watch - we couldn't even finish it. I only hope this warning will save other people their time and money!

I'm being generous by giving it a 3 ! Predictable , stilted and basically a teenage girls type film. Worse still I watched it based on IMDb rating of 8.1 ...after all that's Shawshank Redemption territory .. so it must be good . What I didn't spot was there were only 94 reviews ... they must have come from the cast and crew and their families. My advice ..don't bother watching it

Non-transferable is a different kind of romantic comedy by one of the actors from Frankenstein, M.D. and also starring the lead from the Lizzie Bennet Diaries. This is not a big studio production, but it does have high production values. The movie takes an unexpected plot twist, which is nice. The concept is original, the views of Turkey are amazing, and the dialogue is charming. But what is most striking is the feel of a web serial that has instead been presented as a feature length film. You can watch it on your laptop, or if you get creative, there are ways to stream it to your t.v., which is what I did and it was very much worth it to see this film on the same type of screen I see, say, a Netflix film on. If you like Rom-Coms, do yourself a favor and find a friend to watch this one with.

I am so proud of everyone involved in this film. A really unique kind of indie rom-com with some gorgeous sequences set in Turkey and two charming leads. This isn't the most surprising of rollercoasters, or the most accomplished thing I've ever seen cinematographically, but as a first feature I think it fully deserves this high rating. Also, I want to see Ashley Clements do more things, always.
