I had seen this movie when it was out. I regretted my ticket and even now I have a lot of issues with this movie. My first and biggest issue is the protagonist: Nicholas Cage?!?!?! Don't judge me, I don't hate the actor and find him fun, but he doesn't fit here. Ghost Rider is a sympathetic character that is forced to a life of loneliness and Nicholas Cage isn't the best for that kind of role. Other than that, the movie is slow, visually uninteresting and worst of all has little to no action. The Ghost Rider has a weird look and whenever he appears he mostly just sits around and stares. I don't know what happened, but you have a flaming skeleton that is the Devil's soul collector and you make a boring movie with no action? What happened? To whoever reads this, please skip this one and if you want to see a more enjoyable Ghost Rider see Agents of SHIELD.

I wanted to like the first Ghost Rider movie I really did but when you've got Mark Steven Johnson directing there isn't much you can do to save the film. When I found out he wasn't directing the sequel I thought that maybe the sequel would be okay, I was wrong. This movie much like Batman and Robin is a guideline for what not to do when making a comic book movie. There was a time when Nicholas Cage giving an over the top performance was entertaining as hell but in this film it just tiresome, and he's still one of the better actor in this God awful movie because he at least knows how to act he might not do it well but he knows how to. These other actors, no disrespect to them as people, don't seem to know what they are doing especially that annoying kid. The CGI in this is sort of hard to look at, I mean how do you have a budget this big and still make such terrible effects, did they use up all the money on the Ghost Rider's skull which I admit does look kind of cool. My biggest complaint in this movie full of things to complain about is the forced comedy like that joke about the flamethrower. I know they were trying to make the film more lighthearted but they should of just embraced the darkness of the Ghost Rider source material. This is easily not just one of the worst comic book movies I've ever seen but also just one of the worst films I've ever seen and with all the crap I've seen that's saying something. My advice to anyone who's thinking about watching this, don't.

This Follow-Up to the OK "Ghost Rider" (2007) has Nic Cage returning to the Role and His Trademark Over Acting that He has "Patented" to the Delight of "Youtube" Yahoos.Cage has "Youtube Hits" up the Yin-Yang and His Shenanigans are Clipped and Enjoyed Routinely. In this one, as "Johnny Blaze" the "Rider" seems Dirty and is covered in Tar and Muck, the Cool Flaming Skull has also been Darkened and the Chopper and Chains aren't as Bright and Dynamic. This is all done, one guesses, for more Fancy Slow Motion, Gravity Defying, CGI where Folks are Suspended in the Air and after about the Umpteenth Time this happens it is about as Thrilling as another Music Video from Corporate Clowns who have Plenty of Money and are as Creative and Artistic as a Sports Channel trying to be Culturally Hip.The Movie Never Kicks Starts, and goes through the motions as Scenes are more Paraded Out than Thought Out as the Story becomes a Mess and the Action Familiar. There are a Few Moments of Funny that Work, one Involving a "Twinkie"."Ghost Rider" in Daylight, Come on! The Cutting Edge here is......wait for it......Taking a Pee.Overall, Not much to Recommend and Unfortunately this is one of those where the Sequel's Script was Signed in Blood and Cursed before it even Revved Up.
