Put together via "Project Greenlight" that Ben Affleck and Matt Damon helmed. Project Greenlight is an American documentary television series that strictly focused on first-time filmmakers being given the chance to direct a feature film. It was created by Alex Keledjian, developed by Eli Holzman and produced by Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Sean Bailey, and Chris Moore through their production company LivePlanet,The selected screenplay was a horror script titled "Feast" written by Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton. The director was John Gulager. The film stars Balthazar Getty, Krista Allen, Jason Mewes, and Eric Dane and was produced by Dimension Films and Neo Art & Logic. There is some Tarantino style grip this film has with it's characters and development. A group of patrons from all walks of life in a run down bar are forced to barricade themselves in and fight off these creatures from unknown origin. The film is VERY simple in it's set, plot and dialogue. No CGI, no true cinematography, off the cuff humor and tons of swearing. The film could raise some viewership and eventually become a cult classic. To me a true movie viewer I though this was ok for the genre, good gore, but lacked true creativity in places. 4/10

Love the concept here - a fun flick about survival. Project Greenlight's biggest success.

** THIS REVIEW COULD CONTAIN A LOT OF SPOILERS. IF THE READER DOESN'T WANT THE MOVIE SPOILED, I WOULD RECOMMEND VIEWING THE FILM BEFORE READING THIS MOVIE REVIEW. THANK YOU. **When this movie first started, I absolutely loved how they brought out the character descriptions on the screen. That gave the movie it's own kind of comic-book aura. Which I kind of feel from it as well. It pretty much explains the characters in this bar, located in the middle of nowhere. The action starts with a "what the *&#*" type of incident. This chick just busts in and pretty much says, " do what I tell you or die." So I was sitting there like, "well then." Of course everyone starts freaking out, the typical reaction. When the chic explains everything, people see her as nuts, until her story actually proves to be true. This little baby monster somehow breaks into the bar they were in and tares the actor Jason Mewes face off. I laughed so hard after this. His reaction after it happened made me laugh so hard. Then, the monsters slowly start to break into the bar, via cellars, windows, and other crevices. One eventually pukes on this dorky guy who stores the beer, and it starts breeding maggots into his eye that had been severed earlier. After he got puked on, it was also very funny. Their reactions to their crises' were just hilarity. I loved it. A woman's young boy eventually gets eaten as well. I think the most memorable part is the sexual assault of a woman's mouth by one of the monsters. This woman was dying on top of the fact. It came off as funny, but was terrible to see and know that happened. It's the way the monster did it that made it funny. I think this was the scripts intentions. My opinionated overall summary would suggest that the acting was okay, nothing too bad. The story was...different. Not bad or good. The dialog was okay as well. I would recommend this movie to horror fans for a one time watch.

This movie is..., interesting, surprising. Not scary at all, but it will shock you at points. Hell, as far as I'm concerned, this is a very bloody comedy. One let down for me was..., well there are a bunch of hot biker chicks in a bar, but none of them get naked. Not really a let down, more of a surprise. Anyways, this movie is full of gore. Not horrendous, not shocking, just..., well, funny. If you watch this movie and expect to be scared, or thrilled in anyway, you will be let down. If you try to figure out what's going on, or where the f*** did these things come from, then you will be frustrated cuz none of this movie makes any sense. I gave it a 7, simply because I enjoyed how utterly stupid everybody was, lots and lots and lots of blood, and some really hot chicks.
