I knew what kind of movie I was gonna get, and I'm very sorry for all the people, mainly Romanian, who tried do to a film of professional quality. It is professionally done, good picture quality, great explosions, great sound, and 3d techniques.Stunts may not always be on top, but to make a stunt look good, the director has to cut it right, which hasn't always been successfully done, which leaves sometimes a slight feeling of ridicule.Whoever wrote the text the actors had to give, was ... not inspired, at all, and the actors clearly missed the point of what they had to say, no right intonation, even Mickey Rourke went down. Even some rare good quotes come out flat.A lot of scenes come with a lot of different angles and 3D special effects (which are the real positive aspects), but they are used for no purpose, there are no differences in intensity in the scenes, they just run by flat as the lyrics. Most disappointing is the lack of any kind of humor, even in real life there happens to be a joke, none here, and that is the main issue. The story takes itself seriously, what a shame, and what a difference to the Rodrigues/Tarantino, filled with references, which a lacking here too. Their crescendo directing of scenes to deliver us a mind blowing enjoyment is completely missing in this movie.Would I watch it again, probably not, or else for the only reason I managed to watch it to the end (in two trials) : just as a bad example to admire what it takes to make a Django Unchained or a Sin City

Dead In Tombstone is a great hybrid of horror, action and the western. Basically a fast paced, shoot em' up supernatural revenge western that is a cross between Angel Heart and High Plains Drifter. This is one of the better direct to video releases that came out more recently that I think deserved a wide theatrical release. Dead In Tombstone certainly is much better than the sequel to Machete, Machete Kills which came out at around the same time as this. Danny Trejo is great in this and so is Mickey Rourke as Satan. Also Anthony Michael Hall(the nerd in every John Hughes 80's teen movie) is actually very good as a villain in this. Which should surprise anyone who remembers him from 80'S classics like The Breakfast Club and Weird Science. While it is true Danny Trejo will act in anything and appears in tons of stuff, much of which is crap that even Danny Trejo's presence can not save. Dead In Tombstone is much better than some of these IMDb users suggest. I found this film to be a blast and is very original and bad ass horror western with a great cast and great action. This is a lot better than whole lot of stuff in my opinion.

Saddle up or strap it down! Roel Reine directs this rough and raw romp of cowboy greed and revenge. If you can't get what you want, don't just stand there and bitch about it. A ruthless outlaw gang takes over a small mining town; and when it comes time to decide on the division of a fortune in gold, the leader, Guerrero(Danny Trejo), is murdered in a gang bang of bullets led by his own half brother Red Cavanhaugh(Anthony Michael Hall). Red renames the town Tombstone and his gang rules with fear and a heavy hand. Guerrero doesn't languish in hell too long before he meets Blacksmith/Satan(Mickey Rourke)and strikes a deal. If he goes back to Tombstone and kills the rest of his former gang single handed; he escapes a lifetime of sharing hell with Blacksmith. Some strange, but impressive camera work and plenty of action when the half brothers go against each other. Bloody bullets and carnage galore. Trejo and Hall are excellent. Rourke is absolutely outstanding. The beautiful Dina Meyer shines as the sheriff's widow. Rounding out the cast: Richard Dillane, Emil Hostina, Edward Akrout, Radu Andrei Micu, Ovidlu Niculescu and James Carroll Jordan.

He praised the film's photography and the "not bad" direction, concluding that while it was worthwhile to watch, it nevertheless "lacked in something to give it an edge, over other films of this type. Mickey Rourke said to Danny he has to kill 6 people put them in Coffin's so they can go to hell the action scenes were good when Danny trejo is shooting in bar, bar shoot out place the Action scenes were not to bad i love the action scenes not much exciting but still if i was you i would check this movie out if i was you this flick is action packed, fast placed, Danny Trejo looks like Undertaker but with the hat long hair Badass Looking Character holding 2 Awesome Old Fashion Revolver guns style killing people for Revenge in western this is movie that you should give it a try. this is like Crow (1994) but in different way movie not rip off from Crow but it is way different just similar movies together
