Yes at times this was cheesy and too "soap-like", but that's what it was supposed to be, so for a soap opera, this was the best and most exciting soap opera I have ever seen. We were all TIVOing it like crazy, my friends loved it, we talked about it, even my Mom watched it nightly and was also hooked. I'm 24 years old and it's hard for me to find decent shows that I don't think are extremely cheesy! And in my eyes, this was definitely a winner. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it deserves an award of any sort, but definitely the best MyNetworkTV will EVER do. The new shows... "American Heiress" and "Saints & Sinners" Wow that's a BUST, cheese factor of 100 right away, predictable story lines from the first episode. I miss all the hot people on Watch Over Me, and most of all the SONG!!!

I was so disappointed in the final episode of Watch Over Me. It was as though it was just a hurried deal. The characters were simply killed off and not a bit of imagination used for their demises. The final scene with Jack and Julia. What did this mean? Was he going into a identity protection program? I loved Todd Cahoon and Dayanara Torres together as a couple. The chemistry between these actors was very good and I'd love to see other productions with them in it. Perhaps a detective series like the old radio Mr &Mrs North series. The writers should have been more imaginative in creating the show's end. Very important segments were just sandwiched in between way too many commercials. This viewer felt it had a dream-like quality, with only snippets of what was happening. Michael was so long in dying that he seemed like an old western movie actor, with the character dragging himself all about, then the final gasp and kick. This was a very bad conclusion to what could have been an excellent series.

Woo Hoo!! Again i say its about time! Not since Thursday nights were ruined way back when Knots Landing left me and decided to throw in the towel and retire, chillin-out on the couch after a day of work and stress of reality we wear as a routine all week long TV time just haven't been the same. I haven't made it a part of the evening to specifically be planted in front of the tube w/ control of the remote in a long time. About a month ago bored w/ the same ol' same ol' as I flick thru the channels, pow a face I know now as Sexy Jack, I mean Jack, stopped me in my channel-flicking tracks and believe me "addiction" for this dramatically juicy, easy to love/hate drama will take over. So beware. I cant wait for tomorrows next ''WOM'' will need to be scheduled into your weeks routine and come love/hate " Who's really watching over who?"

I first tuned in to "Watch Over Me" to because I'm a fan of Dan Wells from his stint on Days Of Our Lives and other things he's done. To my surprise, several actors who have appeared in daytime star in the show. "Watch" works with a prime-time budget with the production values that go with it. Like any drama with a large cast, it took a few episodes to get a real feeling for the characters, the stories and how they relate to each other. So much happens every minute, that I find myself rewinding if I turn away for a moment. To aid viewers with following the show (and to assist the viewers who join late in the game), each episode begins with a recap of past episodes. On Saturdays, they have a one-hour summary of the highlights for the week. This show has a superb (and gorgeous) cast and the writing is superior. I'm officially hooked. The show is very serious but has also shown humor. I highly recommend "Watch Over Me."
