Overall, I enjoyed Valor quite a bit. It flowed well and did produce genuine suspense throughout the short series, getting me to go back for more at every free moment I had. Having just recently become a military officer, I found a lot of parallels between the series and the lessons our instructors were instilling in us during our training (though Valor could be a bit heavy-handed with its military-isms at times).With that said, however, there were a number of ways in which I felt as though Valor did not accurately depict military life, culture and standards. Well, having a TV-14 rating, I thought it might be appropriate for my soon-to-be 14 YO daughter. Definitely NOT!! Within 15 minutes of the first episode I had to shut it off quickly as a couple was having rather animated sex. The 'actimg' prior to that was not good. Terrible show.

I thought it was an amazing show, some people will not agree with me but it was good, if you haven't watched it, definitely give it a shot! I hope there will be a season 2!

The script, acting and well, just everything is so unbelievable... and I'm someone that can suspend reality for a good romance.... but man, this is just terrible. Don't waste your time. I recommend searching for Our Girl - a fantastic BBC show that they have withheld from us here in the US, but thankfully some kind peopleput it online. It's worth the time searching for it. Skip Valor, and find Our Girl... you won't regret it.
