I would honestly rather go to Europe and live there than watch this show and saying that means this show is crap even the US version sucks as bad as this one. The dialog is distasteful, the acting is medium grade and the cast looks like a bunch of meth addicts. Who ever actually like this crap show i feel extremely bad for you because this must mean you are actually from England or somewhere like that, i mean its all the same to me and if you are not from there you are just special. Also i can barely understand what they are saying with there accents Also this show makes no sense because almost everything in this show would not happen in eal life at all, never at all NEVER.

Skins is one of my favourite TV series. For me the first generation is the best, I just feel that you can connect with the characters in it, I mean not everything in it is everyday, but for me the characters emotions and just being a Teenager was something I could connect to. The best character I think is Maxxie, although he isn't a main character as such, I just felt like the problems he had with Anwar were the same as I have had. Overall I would say that Skins is a defiant watch if you are looking for a great series to get into and something that you feel involved in and attached to. Just a shame they change the cast every two seasons.

Skins (UK) is a solid 10/10, not a single complaint. Would recommend. The reason this show is so fantastic is because it actually focuses around real troubles that teenagers are facing which helps teenage viewers connect with characters on screen. Most people can either personally connect with the characters or know somebody who connects with them personally. Whether that real person is having troubles like fighting with parents, dealing with the death of family or friends, admitting their sexuality, the results of excessive drug use, cancer, mental Illness, finding love or just trying to be happy, it's all in the show. If you're considering watching Skins (UK) stop contemplating and watch it! It's absolutely fantastic!

The most interesting thing about teenagers is not the way they are (because this is mainly how adults see them), but the way they want to look like and what this tell about who they really are. That's definitely what makes of Skins so remarkable. It's a sincere absurd, and this explain the success of this beautiful English series. Focusing in a character per episode, we discover the world of which of this teenagers, and the way they see the world, and also how they want to seem to the world. Knowing who they are it's impossible to not fall in love with some of them. The sadly happy Cassie, which world is full of kindness and anguish. The lovely Chris, which heartbreaking end is one of the saddest moments of the series. Or the insane and hypnotic Cook. Full of compassion and absolutely imaginative moments, Skins is above all a teenage achievement.
