I love this show! It is cute, funny, has great animation, and two wonderful main characters! Pinky and the Brain spun off from the show "Animaniacs", which, I might add, is also wonderful. They are two talking lab mice who's main goal is to take over the world. Their plans always seem to fail, but that doesn't stop them from trying again. This show is also chalked full of jokes for both children and adults alike. Kids will laugh at Pinky's stupidity, while adults will spot the clever pop culture and celebrity references. I highly recommend this show to anyone, especially animation fans. Are you pondering what I'm pondering? If you're pondering that Pinky and the Brain is a great show, then yes I am! Give it a watch!

The Brain comes up with some elaborate and complicated plan to take over the world and Pinky goes: "Narf!". That's basically what happens in every episode of this hysterical show. You would think, one would be sick of the repetition, but the way the writers elevate that, is by coming up with intricate stories each time for the Brain's plans."Are you pondering, what I am pondering?". Again, you don't get sick of this but you patiently wait until Pinky gives his insane reply, and laugh your ass off. The line has been parodied endlessly since then. "Are you thinking what I am thinking?". Reply: "No!".My favorite episode is the one where the Brain actually builds an alter world out of papier mache. The Third Man parody is a close second. The former is a satire on how people just don't change, even if they got the unbelievable opportunity of starting from scratch. The latter, is just plain silliness. Not really connected to anything that has to do with "The Third Man", except the some basic plot points. The jokes are smart, even if Pinky does seem incredibly stupid, he does get some of the cleverest lines, usually pop-culture based. That also sort of dates the show. Clinton and Dave Letterman jokes? When was the last time you saw that, except maybe on the Simpsons. The voices by Maurice and Rob are awesome. Tress MacNeille does some interstitial voices, some really close to Agnes Skinner and Female Executive. If you don't know those, you must be over 65.

One of the great things about classic Warner Brother's cartoons is that they work on many levels. Children, adolescents, and adults will all find things that are very funny. Unfortunately, the same can't be said of "Pinky and the Brain." While I love the series, it just doesn't have the same multi-level impact. I get the feeling that it's trying to be humorous, which is not the same thing as funny, and it makes a lot of adult references so that you can feel "in" on the jokes, but all it offers children is bathroom humor and slapstick. Don't get me wrong - I love both, but there could have been more. This series just tries too hard.

I consider that Pinky and the Brain is exhaustively underrated, I feel that the series should continue as 'Pinky and The Brain' are unquestionably entertaining!Pinky: So what are we going to do tonight Brain? Brain: The same thing we do every night Pinky....Try to take over the WORLD!When people suggest who is funniest on the programme I always protested Brain as he had complete power and a big sense of authority, of what he was doing. Brains anger amused me in a way that no other programme has.Brain, in general has an wrathful attitude and his inclination for global domination can be understood, (I know how he feels), He should have found me. We could have ruled the world side by side......BRAIN LIVES!!!!Only he can understand what I'm becoming..........7 wins 10 nominations, enough said really!
