When it comes to Kirby, any "True Anime Fan" will tell you that the Japanese version of Kirby is the inferior version. Some of the voice casts cannot match or sync lip flap and most of season one has bad audio quality. The English version has better audio quality and has more better voice casts, ones that can match and sync lip flap. The English Dub also follows the Original creator Masahiro Sakurai's wish and primary rule of Kirby not aloud to speak, where as the Japanese version broke his rule and his desire by making him say attack phrases. That automatically makes it inferior to the English Dub because they broke the rule of his character. Most of the English voice casts are also more fitting to the characters personalities. Meta Knight has a Zorro-like accent to compliment his Zorro-like personality and King DeDeDe's southern accent and mispronunciation of words brings out his character more. Meta Knight's voice in the Japanese version however sounds basic and normal with no relation to his actual personality and King DeDeDe, who apparently suffered severe brain trauma as a kid, speaks perfectly fine but has a verbal tic, ending most sentences with "ZOI".The plot was extremely close to the Original, not much of the scripts was changed, and some of the scripts were rewritten but still relating in a way to the Original script and particular scene. Both versions use puns, not much was cut out in the English Dub, and the culture remained in tact. Makiko Ohmoto still got to voice Kirby, which was an awesome thing to retain from the Original version as she is the only one who is perfect for the voice of Kirby. English Version>Japanese Version

Ever since I started playing the video games, I've gone completely obsessed with Kirby. Now every time a new game comes up I buy it. the shows are even better though. The only thing I don't like about "Kirby right back at ya" is that Kirby can't speak. I wish he were able to talk. If they were to make a totally new season I would want him to be able to talk. the characters are also cool I think Tiff is the most kindest one in the show. The episodes I have seen all amaze me. I was on the edge of my seat."Kirby right back at ya is my favorite TV show.I just wish the shows would come back on TV again. I missed a lot of episodes and I wish I could see all of them.

Based on the Nintendo video game this show takes place on a far away planet called Popstar. Popstar is constantly bombarded by monsters that are ordered by Popstar's ruler King Dedede (pronounced De-De-De).The monsters are part of an evil corporation called Night Mare Enterprises headed by a figure called NME who is determined to enslave the universe. Popstar's only hope is a Star Warrior who goes by the name of Kirby.Kirby does come to Popstar but at the wrong time. Kirby is a baby and does not have the fighting experience. To make matter worse Dedede is not found of Kirby and is determined to take out Kirby for good with NME's help. Followers of the Kirby games know that Dedede is the main villian. However a girl named Tiff who is very strong willed does her best to protect Kirby. She is helped by her brother Tuff (most of the time), and by Meta Knight who is a Star Warrior himself and one of few warriors left after losing to Night Mare Enterprises. Together they help Kirby in perfecting his skills and to be the light of hope to defeat NME.Kirby for the most part is played of laughs since this show is produced by Nintendo and 4Kids (who also produce Pokemon), but it still good fun. If your fan of the Kirby video game series you might enjoy this fun cartoon show.

When I found out that Kirby one of Nintendo's video game characters was going to have his own show, I thought "This will probably be dumb". However, I saw the show recently, and I was actually impressed. This show is pretty excellent, and has great characters (like Kirby, and his nemesis King Dedede), and it's pretty colorful too art wise. So check it out, you might like it.
