What is there to watch here? Self-videoed "experts" running away from their own shadows, self-proclaimed psychics pumping out the same bilge that any Halloween party medium could spout, 0% hard evidence of anything paranormal, over-dubbed sound effects where viewers wait for real audio to manifest itself, and a grand wrap-up at the end where everyone congratulates themselves on finding...nothing. I'm surprised that Robb Demarest is involved with this junk. He's already earned the respect of investigators and audiences from his previous years with quality productions. After a decade of Ghost Hunters the bar is set pretty high, and this claptrap deserves to be dead and buried with no chance of resurrection.
... View MoreIncredibly cheesy. Very poor intro music, the narrator sounds like a Hannibal Lecter knockoff. I was hoping for something much more professional and interesting. The research was almost non evident. It was something I would expect from a group of 7th graders with Dad's video camera, trying to scare each other.Quit trying to be cheap Syfy! This was a bomb in 2014, and it's still a stinker today. Invest the money and bring us our beloved professional back. You've been promising for three months. Am coming to the end of my patience, as I expect other paranormal enthusiasts are as well. Very soon I will be switching off SyFy for good. Especially if they think this is an acceptable level of tomfoolery, smoke and mirrors. Ridiculous. Another SyFy leering failure. Does the Programming Department really think that insulting it's audience is an acceptable practice? If yes, heads need to roll.Don't waste your time.
... View MoreIt's definitely refreshing to see something from Australia as there is a very rich history here. However, I thought it would be even more brilliant if there were something that included the Australian Indigenous history. There are many sites including the Myall Creek massacre in 1838 which involved 30 and 40 murders of Indigenous people. There's indigenous stories about many strange and fearsome creatures in the bush. Would be cool if they had a look out there and spent some time with Indigenous elders in communities - they will definitely find something out there. In all honesty, I did enjoy the show, however, I love having the mixture of science and physic In the Geelong Goal episode I would've loved to have seen the woman in the cell that would've made some interesting viewing.
... View MoreLow production value & terrible casting. It's difficult to believe that these are *highly experienced investigators* when they cry ghost & run at the drop of a hat. I would say that they are a handful of idiots who were willing to do anything to get their faces on television. They used very cheap grainy camera equipment & were obviously grasping at straws when it came to any kind of evidence - More than once, it was obvious that they were staging photos for the sake of needing something to show for their efforts at the end of the episode. The first time, they had the grainy silhouette of the tattooed skinny psychic in a ghost photo. Then the next episode they had the silhouette of the ugly fat bloke, which was given as *evidence* of an apparition manifesting for a photo. Who enjoys this nonsense? Unbelievable.
