I just got done watching this tv series as a huge fan of the movie when I first tried getting into it in 2016 when it first started I kind of thought I may not end up liking it so about 3 episodes in I stopped watching but now I finally decided to pick it up again I rewatched the first 3 episodes I'd already seen with an open mind...it ended up sucking me in I had to know what was going to happen next I loved this it held my interest not once was I bored this is definitely one of the best tv shows based on a movie that I've seen. Peyton List as Raimy Sullivan was just awesome so was Riley Smith as her dad Frank who she communicates to through the ham radio in 1996 not going to spoil too much for those of you who haven't seen it but they do change things with their actions in this too for example in the beginning of the show Frank is undercover and Raimy knows he's going to end up getting killed so she tips him off about it so he's able to defend himself then after he survives it changes and he's alive for a little longer he actually gets to see her follow in his footsteps by becoming a cop. The same serial killer also is in this which I like...The Nightingale who abducts and murders nurses the hunt for him is interesting only in this he isn't a dirty cop in this he's just the stepson of a church Deacon I'm sorry for that spoiler. Anyway if you like the movie I'd say definitely give this a look but it definitely ended on a cliffhanger it was only the Season 1 finale I definitely want to see it continued I hope eventually they do but they haven't since last year so my guess is there was really no faith in it not many people liked it so they decided not to continue it it did get good ratings for the most part though so I don't understand it I really hope they do decide to continue it.

I was a bit apprehensive after struggling my way through the pilot. I forced myself to give this a chance and watched the 2nd episode. You won't regret it I hope! I watched the last 4 episodes in quick succession after work and before work, I was hooked. I thought Riley Smith's character was a bit weak and his daughter bossed him around a bit but he came through in the end. I hope you enjoy.

I missed this one when it came out and watched on Netflix and couldn't stop watching as the story moved through the primary plot. I really liked the subplots for each individual episode creating a mini completion of that show. It has been a long time since I had to binge watch a series, the last one I remember was 24. I love the idea of ripples in the time continuum having effects which create different results of actions in another time. There are an infinite number of story lines that can be used to create different results in what we consider current events. When I watched the original movie, I thought it could make a good series. Hope it continues. It kept me on my seat the entire series.

I just finished streaming Season 1 of Frequency and I really don't get the complaining about the time shifts, I thought the story was great SciFi! Daughter talking to her dead dad 20 years in the past, working together to solve a crime and with each change to the past a subsequent change to the future in each episode making each one a thrill ride. Maybe watching it with a week between episodes made the time shifts and affects hard to follow, but while streaming over 4 days it was easy, and quite enjoyable. Even with the ending in the finale, they made a lot of mistakes but discovered that Robbie was the real killer, not his dad. While his dad killed only his mother, but confessed to the others, then BAM back to just his wife and Robbie blamed for the others but the time line still basically as it was in the pilot, but with improvements! Raimy gets to know her dad Frank, gets her mom back, her best friend is a lawyer. Sure she still lost her dad, but they got 15 years more of good family life together... but now of course the radio is broken and Robbie is stalking her mom in her modern day. I thought Season 1 stood well on its own, but am hoping they don't dump it because of ratings dropping off. Maybe the medium is the key, as a streaming show I thoroughly enjoyed it!
