If breaking bad is 9.5. Then The Wire is 95. On a scale of 100 I meant. Nothing that you'll ever see on television will compare to this. Its the equivalent of a 60 hour movie. Only its greater than the 30 greatest movies of all time put together. The Wire is the greatest thing on motion picture. Ever.

This is the best show I've seen since prison break !! The only reason I'm not giving this a 10 or 9 is because it was a bit boring especially when they where showing the police side of the show ...

This is the best moving image on ANY SCREEN that I ever saw. I like it so much, I've been watching the whole series at least once every year. The last 10 years or so. Everything about The Wire is just so mindblowingly good. The script, the drama, the dialogue, the direction. The performances!!! Not to mention some of the best TV talent that's been around but also the kids. OMG! the kids!, they deserve awards them. It's just vow! What first looked like series about police & street life, becomes very nuanced odyssey of a marvel seen from an array of perspectives (police, gangs, politicians, the press, education system etc).The way the relations and characters manifest themselves, develop and transform is believable to the point I completely forget I'm not watching reality TV. Lots of it really happened, sinceThis is the TV's Dostoyevsky and The Godfather rolled into one.

Best TV show ever! Acting is unbelievable. Along with Game of Thrones best tv show. First 3 episodes was "wtf, nothing is going on" but that was just beggining!! No words !
