The main part of the problem so many critics seem to have seems to be their own fault of a frankly rather childish lack of the suspension of disbelief too often masquerading as sophistication. For me, the only reason I watched the show was for Olivier Gruner. What really frustrated me was the seeming cliffhanger that ended the series. Does anyone have an idea of what actually happened; I couldn't figure it out. Did Banning or Ethaniel win ultimately or what?

I have always like Sci-Fi and action together. I don't get all the others reviewers at all. It seems to me that they have another agenda, some worked on the show or whatever.I have always liked a mix of both sci Fi and action and prefer this balance to the old sci fi formula. This show to me was entertaining, funny, clever and walked that fine balance very well. I agree that the acting was not as good as the story lines or the execution. But I prefer this show to UPN's attempt to bring back any semblance of Star Trek.We have Invasion now, which bores me to tears. If I see any more actors STARE into the camera after spending an episode finding out that one of the characters is a possible alien I'll scream.I think Code Name tried to entertain and deliver Sci Fi and I enjoyed it.

I couldn't agree more with the writer of the "Oh brother" comments than if I had written it myself. Not only is this a good concept badly executed but for some reason they cast actors who could be outshone in a 3rd grade play. Laura seems to have one voice pitch: monotone; and it's exacerbated by the fact that she seems to be reading cue cards rather than playing a role and exerting any feeling for her character. Ethaniel is not much better, but he does manage some pitch and intonation from time to time. What a waste... yet they cancel something amazing like Firefly. Go figure.

Suspense, thriller, you name it. I love mystery and the unknown; this series proves just that. The main actors are really good, especially the Mr Dent character. The tension between Ethaniel & Laura, that should we or shouldn't we makes watching Code Name: Eternity all the more interesting. All good things come to an end, but I would hate to see that happen - it's a good treat at the end of a long week! It's a great pity there are no screensavers or photos!
