This is another direct-to-video movie by the Olsen Twins that features a story of twin students that were sent into international competition.Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen portray Chloe and Riley Lawrence respectively as American high school students that were sent in London to take part in a symposium of students sponsored by the United Nations. What takes part in most of the story is what they do during their free time like learning to play polo,go shopping, see tourist sights and finally find time for romance.Their experiences at London help them to learn a few lessons on balance and responsibility. There is nothing new here except to see the Olsen twins portray the same characters and practically follow the same plot twists in the screenplays in most of their movies. This time though the story takes place in London. While their fans have accepted the movies that they usually make for kids and pre-teens,adults not used to it may find themselves in an awkward situation. They need to get used to it accept it for what it usually is.
... View MoreSee, I'm not one of those little girls who worships the ground that Mary-Kate and Ashley walk on. I actually do have some taste in movies. All of MK and A's movies are unrealistic, have no plot line, and nothing bad ever happens to them. But this one was the best out of them all I think. It was actually realistic. Take Our Lips Are Sealed...I don't know who wrote that, but whoever did, does not get out much. Winning London at least had a plot line (trying to win the UN model competition) and at least it could actually happen. The acting was fine. Mary-Kate and Ashley could just get annoying sometimes. But if you're a girl from ages 6-14 you'll probably watch it and enjoy it, and just say "Whatever." None of Dulstar's movies touch your heart, so don't expect much. It's not awful though, for a movie from MK and A.
... View MoreI just really don't like all the straight-to-video movies MK&A do. When are they NOT on holiday in France/Rome/Britain/Australia/the Bahamas? Since Passport to Paris, all they have done is travel films, and they all follow the same formula...by the way, how come they meet a LORD? I've lived in Britain all my life, and I've never met a Lord - and I'm sure, if I did, they wouldn't be that stereotypically pompous. And Jesse Spencer? Didn't he use to be in NEIGHBOURS?????
