I could have been the first movie, or maybe one of the other ones. Does it matter? This movie was awful, just awful. Truly terrible. Horrible, no redeeming qualities. Bad makeup. TERRIBLE acting. A wretched script. Kristen Stewart constantly biting her lower lip and looking in every direction but at the person talking to her. And then it just got worse, because I realized it was trying to be a "serious"'movie. Did anyone on set think this was going to be given good reviews? Do not watch this movie. Completely uninteresting plot derived from a book thaf was written by a woman who very obviously wanted to be Bella, and have her little vampire romance.

Twilight is a phenomenon, whether you believe it or not. The saga enjoys a loyal fandom and I have known people who are ardent lovers of the books and the movies. My review, however, is rational and based solely on the movie; I haven't read the books.Twilight is a simple, straightforward story of a girl who falls in love with a vampire and the consequences that follow such an affair. There isn't much in the movie that you haven't seen/heard/read before. The story does not even justify whatever few myths surrounding the vampires are portrayed in it.Performances: Edward and Bella, the lead pair of the movie are, sadly, the weakest performers. The rest of the cast is not up to the mark but they are surely better than the lead pair. The cheesy dialogues between the lead pair might annoy you after a few minutes into the movie. The vampire family's behavior towards their son's human girlfriend is quite shallow considering they are the most feared family in town.Atmosphere: The makers have surely not taken much pain over creating an enigmatic, dark and terrifying atmosphere. The scenic beauty, however little, shown in the movie is unsatisfying. The only pleasing entity in the movie is Edward Cullen's bedroom, which might make you want to have such a room for yourself.Overall verdict: Twilight is a movie that doesn't need much attention while watching so one could put on the movie and very well do some other work while it runs in the background. Surely not a movie that you might want to watch over and over again.

Everything in this movie is perfect, it captured the aura of the series (book). The visual is excellent and the music is fantastic. I think there are many negative comments here due to bandwagons hating

I'm not a Twilight fan, and I don't like any of the other movies in the series. This is the only one I like. The acting and the story seems to be best in this one. But the main reason I like this movie the best is because of the music. The soundtrack in this movie is awesome! There are lots of cheesy parts, and I understand why a lot of people don't like this movie. Even though this is the only one I like, I still find the acting to be dull at many times. It can be cheesy sometimes. But it has it's heartfelt and exciting moments.
