After HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2, it was announced that HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3: SENIOR YEAR, would be the final film in the High School Musical trilogy and it is really good amazing. The plot is very amazing and the idea of calling this film "Senior Year" was amazing because this is the end of an era and the ending to a great franchise that was created by Disney.I was really excited to see how it would turn and it was really amazing once I finally saw, but I didn't get to see it until it was released on DVD, but my sister LeeAnn saw in both the theaters and on DVD and it was really cool. The songs were really amazing and just fantastically amazing and a really darn good choreographer and director who was great and so amazingly good this time around. My favorite musical numbers is at the beginning, where the say "Now or Never, "Can I Have This Dance?", and the prom musical number, "A Night to Remember".The only song that I can't stand was "I Want It All", but the version without Sharpay in the musical show, sung only by Ryan was really cool.I love this film's story and that was a really great story to pull off because I already lost one HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL movie, and that was HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2, but I have to say, for me and anyone who is a fan of HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, the first film and the third film are the only ones worth watching, so HSM 2 is worth skipping if you are a fan of the franchise, but I don't have an extremely amount of problems of this film as I had one major problem with the second film. The only problems with the second film that I had were Sharpay and way too many songs. The only problems I have is once again Sharpay, the idea of Gabriella trying to leave from Troy, again, the idea of creating a villain for Sharpay, which her name is Tiara Gold and the idea of Gold trying to take the theatre department from Sharpay Evans. Those problems were the reason why I put HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3: SENIOR YEAR on my list of the Top 10 Overrated Movies, but it really gives me a great and satisfying conclusion. The acting is once again top-notch and Ashley Tisdale as Sharpay, still gets on my nerves, but she does not fail to deliver and incredible and intense performance that really saves this movie from being too stupid for me.The music and dancing is once again also are really cool and they are just really amazing and is really fantastic this time around and they could have not done any better.Overall, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3: SENIOR YEAR is good, if not better than the first one. Sure, there are some major flaws, which are the ones I just mentioned that are the reasons why the movie appears on my Top 10 Overrated Movies list on IMDb, but Disney and the Disney Channel network could have done a heck of a lot worse, but I've also seen worse from Disney.I have also seen some very bad TV shows and movies from the Disney Channel network. This film is getting an 8 out of 10.After the success of HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3, there was an original idea for another HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL film, but it would not have the original cast returning, instead it would feature a brand new cast and would be titled HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL: EAST MEETS WEST, but that idea would eventually scrapped.A spin-off titled SHARPAY'S Fabulous ADVENTURE, starring Ashley Tisdale as the title character and the film was not good at all and I don't plan on doing a review of it because it is just plain stupid. To this day, they have been talking about another HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL movie and with the director and the original cast returning for the fourth film and it would be a challenge to get Zac Elfron, Vanessa Hudgens, Lucas Grabeel, Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Olesya Rulin and the rest of the crew back together for a fourth film and they have moved on to other and bigger things.I would love to see what HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 4 would be and I think they are actually talking about having Troy and Gabriella get married.Man, would that be a blessing to see? On the big screen? Heck, yeah. Hopefully they put as many songs as they need to in this film, but not too much because we saw what happened with the second film and I hated that one.But back to the possibility of High School Musical 4. They should call the tagline under the words "HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 4", simply THE WEDDING because if Troy and Gabriella gets married, I would pay to buy it on DVD.Yet, they have said it's release date, start date of principal photography or when the film will be in development. My God, Disney better say something about HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 4 soon because it's been a long time since the last one and I really want to see the Wildcats Team back on the big screen.Well, that's it for the HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL trilogy and film franchise overall. It's definitely had it's upside and downside, but I still love this trilogy. That's it for this franchise review and for right now. Thank you so much for reading and listening and I will see you next time.

Took the girls and one of Caroline's friends to see High School Musical 3 this afternoon. I knew there would be sacrifices that came with the children, I just didn't appreciate the extent of them. Basically, this would have been a 2nd rate straight-to-video release and only received theatrical distribution based on the runaway success of the first two installments. Here are some random thoughts I had while I dozed in the theater: Who the hell sets a movie in Albuquerque? It's like the Dayton of the Southwest. In several scene Zac Efron wears his pants around the middle of his ass which apparently is the style these days. If I were in charge this would be a illegal. For God's sake pull up your pants America! Corbin Blue has gotten a little fat Ashley Tisdale sports the recently rebuilt nose in this one. I think the major problem with cosmetic surgery is that everyone who has it sort winds up with the same look to them. Also at 23, she is starting to look a little long in the tooth to be playing a high school senior. Of course, this may be sexist given that Michael J. Fox played high school kids well into his 30s.Vanessa Hutchins character is a Latina who dreams of going to Stanford which is exactly the same story line as In the Heights Lucas Grabeel, who at 24 is also a little old to be playing a high schooler, plays the kid who is really good at choreography. Because this is a Disney movie he talks a girl to the prom.Bart Johnson, who plays the father, looks exactly like Jason Bateman who plays the reluctant husband in Juno

This is the most greatest movie (musical) of all... it's like Greece but, more to our century. They are not professional dancers, but, they dance like pro's. Maybe because they practice to make this movie more love-able. so, people who wrote bad comments don't really appreciate their hard work for three whole years! That's why they deserve to be complimented!!! So, people who NEVER watch this show have got to go watch it!! I will recommend it to anyone who is already boring with our genre of songs nowadays. Mostly pop and tech-no. Soo common. Now, try one of classics songs. And, enjoy some laughter with Sharpay and Ryan's songs.

I've seen High School Musical and High School Musical 2 so it made sense for me to see High School Musical 3: Senior Year but is it better than the last two? The story has definitely improved and it worked a lot better and made more sense as they prepared to say goodbye through one last show. I also noticed that there is a couple of funny scenes in it and the characters were better written this time round, the character development was actually visible from all of the characters and you got to see all the characters instead of seeing one more than the other. I noticed that Monique Coleman who plays Gabriella's best friend Taylor, doesn't seem to be in the movie as much as the other characters do and I don't know why considering she's supposed to be one of the main characters. The acting is a lot better and the actors and actresses did a good job of portraying their characters. The direction was good and the choreography was great. Also, the songs are a lot better than the first two.I was surprised to find that the last movie would be the best out of all of them. I can say it's definitely toned down on the chesse-o-meter, it's gone from "Super Ultimate Same Difference cheese!" to "Plain cheese" and you hardly cringe watching some of the scenes. The songs and dances were well done and quite enjoyable. It's improved a lot on everything from the last two movies and the difference from the first two and this one is adults may actually find themselves liking it. It's got charm, it's colourful and it's a nice way of escapism. Overall, I very much enjoyed this more than the other two as it's a lot more improved. I don't see why people hate it so much, sure it's not great but it isn't bad either, I've seen a lot worse and considering the target audience is mainly kids and pre-teens, it shouldn't be taken too seriously. After all, it's just a bit of Disney squeaky-clean fun.Read more reviews at: www.dudedazzmoviereviews.wordpress.com
