This is a movie made on the cheap, with corny humor, somewhat stilted dialog and donuts. Lots of donuts. Made at the cultural crossroads, at the peak of the 'porn chic' period where Johnny Carson very publicly attended a screening of 'Deep Throat', this movie attempts to make fun of the various bits of culture attendent to 'porn chic'. It's funny in a B movie sort of way with some fairly catchy songs, all with bawdy themes. In the end, it works because of the awkward innocence of most involved. Oh, and the nudity, 1970's style, hairy and human. It's a glance at ourselves from a bygone time, before pornography transitioned, in the main, into mechanical overt abuse.

This was a refreshingly bad movie about an industry that was simply bad without the refreshing part added. Like "Flesh Gordon" it tried to tackle several genres (business, porn, and low budget motion picture, in this case) and managed to skewer them all at once.Okay, sometimes a movie is just for fun. Naughty fun, maybe, but fun. No deep meanings, no discussions in the lobby about how "the leafless black tree in the snow was symbolic of the director's inner child seeking the approval of" type of BS, just entertainment-- a chance to make us look at ourselves and laugh. Now if we could do it without the porn. . . .

When it comes to low budget parodies/satires the Kimmel/Williams team outdoes even Zucker, Abrahams, Zucker(ZAZ).Unlike ZAZ, this team uses music with great personalities (instead of bad puns) to make their point (this movie also uses a lot of nudity, as the title suggests)Q: How do you spoof and industry that is its own self parody? A: with on the mark characterizations.Q; How do you satirize an industry known for being over the top gross without being (too) gross. A: With memorable tunes and dance numbers.Q: How do you show some intelligence when the movie is about something where intelligence was never highly prized? A: Sink down to their level but stay a cut above. This movie has it all, except for a big budget--but who needs one when discussing a low budget industry. This movie is a toe tapping, foot stomping, belly laughing riot that you will want to see again and again.Kimmel and WIlliams do it again in "SpaceShip".

Very funny parts - Yes, the dancing dildos scene spawned one of the funniest lines I've ever heard in a movie: "Can't you f---ing dildos get anything right?!" You have to see it just for this line!!! Don't spend over $1.99 to rent it though -- Ron Howard appears, yet went uncredited for a reason!
