Orphaned high school student Rick Riker is bitten by a radioactive dragonfly, develops super powers (except for the ability to fly), and becomes a hero. As a big fan of the Scary Movie Quadrilogy this movie couldn't be more awesome i mean if you loved X-Men, Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, Batman and pretty much every Superhero movie that was released during the early and late 90's but also the early 00's you're definitely going to love this movie as well. It has some terrific cameos, great comedy and the acting was very good plus Leslie Nielsen. (10/10)

This is not funny. It is just gross and stupid. How dare there make fun of Stephen Hawking. The story line in this is awful. The hummer is awful. I do not knew why this got a 4.5 is not funny at all. Good actor wasted they talent being in this movie. Do not wast your time. And do not wast your money. This movie stinks. There so many fart jokes that proves that it stinks. The ending is awful. There is nothing wrong with laughing. But how could laugh at this movie. 4.5 is overrating it. This is movie pooh pooh. There is scene with wolverine is taking pooh pooh and proves that it is pooh pooh. This is one of the worst comedies of all time.

It was perhaps inevitable that with the popularity of superhero movies in the past few years, a comedy spoofing the superhero genre would be made. Oddly, while writer/director Craig Mazin had a number of superhero movies to get inspiration from, for the most part his story is simply a comic look at the first "Spider Man" movie. Mazin does execute the movie with a good swift pace (there's seldom a lull), and with the relentless bombardment of gags, it is inevitable that at least a few are funny. While there are some genuine laughs here, for the most part I didn't laugh that much. There are too many scenes of people being hit and knocked about, which gets tiresome pretty fast. A lot of gags also feel like they were dreamed up and written down before a lot of thought was given to them - thought that would have determined that they weren't funny gags. Also, the amount of scatological gags suggests that Mazin was pretty desperate and couldn't think of more gags concerning superheroes. Not the worst spoof movie that's been made, but it is a big disappointment.

I've got to say that despite what most people reviewed this movie as i found it very entertaining although i can definitely see why this would get low ratings for cheap humor (not that i totally disagree with that) but still despite the cheap humor me and my friend found ourselves laughing very hard at the jokes. If someone asked me to compare this to another comedy i'd compare it to airplane, anyone who has seen airplane can understand this review, its basically very random jokes that are funny but had nothing to do with each other, which brings me to reviewing the plot which without the humor gets like -1 stars but still i give this movie such a high rating mainly because of the way it caused me and my friend to laugh really hard.
