Not going to blow you away with Oscar performances but for a bunch of kids, this is a prettt entertaining movie.

Excellent overall. Cast is great. If I had let myself be influenced by negative reviews on this film I would of missed out on what non-fiction is about (enjoying make believe). I read the acting was not good and I though compared to what because Chris Hemsworth is not only a pleasure to watch but believable. Josh Peck, I didn't recognize from Drake and Josh TV series, it was good to see a different side of him and he was great here too. I can only speak for myself I'd watch a sequel.

(Originally seen a few years ago) I have yet to see the original but I'm guessing it's one hundred times better than this pile of absolute garbage. Chris Hemsworth was never a good actor, he does the bare minimum as Thor, and yet he is somehow noticeably awful here, he stands around a lot and says "Here's what we should do", and when he's not doing that he's arguing with his dim-witted brother or shooting the invaders. The rest of the cast who are mostly unknown are dreadful here, they should stay unknown. God-awful action sequences, and awful everything. This piece of garbage is completely unwatchable, and another noisy, braindead piece of tripe that deserves it's place on the worst films of the decade. 0/10

Wow! This was bad on so many levels. Blatant anti North Korea propaganda (not that I am a fan of North Korea.) How can film makers get away with that. It's technically slander. Definitely pushing stereotypes.Secondly, Chris Hemsworth. Channelling Sylvester Stallone's manner of talking in Rambo. Ugh! Thirdly. Teenagers save the world theme AGAIN. I am utterly over that now.Fourthly. Story. Utterly ridiculous. These "North Koreans" are wearing China PLA Army uniforms. How about a bit of research. So that's me "out" right there. Insulting our intelligence.SUMMARY. A Gen Y movie made by Gen Y for Gen Y morons. We don't need adults. We're Gen Y. We can do ANYTHING! "Wolverine!"Pathetic.
