This is the second short I see of predator and it's just gets better, well paced, well acted, I didn't mind the CGI cause I understand they are on a budget so things had its limits but besides that a great tale. It used its elements perfectly the director knows how a Predator movie works and what to do. This is a great example of a short movie well made and making it with such an iconic character as Predator it makes for a great premise, I hope they make others shorts with predators threw time, and the waited story about the gun in the second movie.Give it a watch it's worth the 27 minutes.
... View MoreI like the storyline for this fan made Predator film knights v.s the Predator cool storyline and the kills were actually pretty cool this is the first time the Predator kills a woman and he kills her in the best way as possible. Only 2 guys survive (in the actual films a woman and a man always survive but in this one that didn't happen) the only thing i didn't like was the ending it felt a little bit too rushed and i expected a big showdown with the Predator's death but for a fan made film it was a great one they did a good job and it was entertaining. I hope they actually make a sequel with a bigger budget liked it a lot an 8 out of 10 for me.
... View MoreI had my doubts at first, but got into it really fast.Very good casting, production value, environments, mood, music, props, etc ... I quickly forgot I was looking at a rather low budget movie. In fact, I've seen plenty of movies with far bigger budgets that were just awful and didn't feel anywhere near as good as this short one.Just imagine what these guys could do with a bigger budget.Make it happen!I just wish I had come across it during the crowdfunding phase. As a huge predator fan, I would have loved to back it. And I'm sure there are many other fans like me who feel the same.
... View MoreFrom the very first seconds of this successful short, you're drawn in by the tone, the acting and the surprisingly substantial production values. The movie feels like a proof of concept, and although the Middle Ages setting is a mind-boggling departure from the Fox series, it works really well and demonstrates that such a storyline could work if it were spun into a full-length feature. I hope it is! The only aspects that were jarring were the fall landscape and the low light. Lush foliage and sun filtering through the canopy are key elements of the franchise - they heighten the primordial feel. Of course, night scenes are also de rigueur, and the one featured here is appropriately climactic. The script even displayed a dry sense of humor and the interplay between the Saracen scholar and his band of enemies turned companions of misfortune reminded me at times of the 13th Warrior (a memorable entry in the same genre).
