Triggering. Unyielding. Difficult to watch. More difficult to stop watching. Triumphant. Tragic. Watching a rape victim deal with the trauma of her assault and take that power and wield it for good. Yes I said good. Despite what other reviews may say this movie was phenomenal. How many movies are out there where a male takes on the vigilante role or avenges a female rape victim only to be praised?! So, so many. I find no problem with a powerful and complex women with excellent character development and killer acting to take on the role of bad-ass-rape-avenging-vigilante. The best part of this movie was how true it speaks to the actual anguish and emotions victims feel AND how it ACCURATELY portrays how both victims and perpetrators are treated. Thank you for this movie.

Compare this to the movie "I Spit On Your Grave". You will see this was a Disney version of rape revenge.

I loved this movie because the director went all out. Hugely satisfying if you hate rape culture, hate rape, and hate ignorance. This was therapy. I felt the film was well researched and thought out. There was meticulous attention to detail on each and every scene. For the haters that think the rape vigilante didn't go far enough? Not much revenge? I guess you've never been mutilated by scissors... LOL. Wow some of the comments are just so mind numbing. I guess that's the society we live in. It's not a man hater movie, it's a call to attention on an important topic and conversation that is finally relevant. Some people want to be a part of the conversation, others do not. Watch the movie if you want to be a part of the conversation. There's plenty of likable men/characters. But our heroine is a female badass who takes the law into her own hands and dishes revenge on the men who committed atrocities. She dishes revenge without apology. But just to clarify, female killing male movie does not amount to "man-hater movie." If that were the case, then all the movies made about men killing women should be categorized as "woman-hater movies." So yeah, if you want to see a rape survivor dish some major pay back to the bros that ruthlessly rape and get away with it... this is the film to see. Francesca Eastwood is so badass. I loved the ending.

Francesca Eastwood stars as Noelle our protagonist art student at Balboa University in a rape-revenge film.Who doesn't love a good rape-revenge film. I did an on-line search and discovered there were over a 100 listed and a few that I have seen that were missing from the list. There are two things that distinguish this one from the pack. One is the timely message. This takes place on a college campus and deals with the issues of reporting the rape where the victim is blamed. The second is Francesca brings great face to the screen. Clearly the "B" movie horror/thriller genre is her calling...or at least where I like to see her act.Guide: F-word, rape, nudity (Francesca Eastwood, male victim, female model)
