Very much a product of it's time with it's 'Miami Vice' style and soft rock soundtrack, plus lots of BIG hair. Sadly, it doesn't even get near to be half as good as the aforementioned television series.Amateurish over-acting, everything is said in a strident tone, poor directing, tighter pacing might have helped the film at least play a bit more quicker rather than the turgid speed it bogs down in, Endless long shots that seem to go on for ages. Not helped by a muddled and confusing story where you get the feeling you have come into the cinema after the film had already been on for half an hour. The action scenes are quite ludicrous as the fights look as if they are a first rehearsal before filming. Stuntmen wait for the supposed blows to land and then slowly fall over.It all starts as an almost interesting serial killer tale before it dissolves into a standard crime caper. The main part of it deals with a bank robbery showing the police to be as incompetent as the film-makers themselves. You could think the director was given a different script for each day of shooting as I couldn't follow the convoluted plot but then again, I probably had long lost any interest by then......This type of thing has been so much better in films and TV series like 'Kojak,' etc, so, don't waste your time with this mess.
