I thought this movie was so smart and very, very funny.I recognized someone I know in almost every character. My husband and I frequently go to the movies and we both agreed this was so much better and more amusing than anything we have seen in a long time. We are so sick of the contrived plots and strained humor found in most movies today.Kudos for Knots. It is thoroughly enjoyable without insulting my intelligence. The various personalities were very believable and the choice of actors totally right on.John Stamos and Paulina Porizkova were outstanding.I really liked the opening scenes with the moving truck and the music choice.

Knots is that little known film that just seemed to work. You left the the theater laughing for a change. At last a non-violent, non- cartoon film that's worth seeing. An actual comedy that's entertaining without sight gags. Dating, marriage, infidelity, and cross genre infidelity. There was plenty of wit, plot, and humor to move the film along. Paulina P. was beautiful and surprisingly good. John Stamos was very funny and believable as that 30 something guy . The NY locations were great to see , particularly the Brooklyn scenes. Originally saw this at the Gen Art festival, unedited. Try to catch this version as I understand the edited version took a little teeth out of it

terrific movie. funny. love the intertwining plots and very sexy scenes (esp. between the women, but maybe I'm being too typically male). John Stamos was hysterical. WOW!! i love the primary relationship. very clever. and my wife has often considered women more attractive than me, so i can relate. very snappy writing. was this movie released in theaters? i don't remember seeing it? how could they skip over this one? besides, what more can i say without giving away the plot. everything works well and flows together, plus the characters are well developed. i would have liked to see more of Stamos, because he steals the movie. Paulina is pretty great as well. I had no idea she could act. finally, i love the new york setting. makes me proud to live here.

Great little film shot in NYC and starring a brilliant John Stamos. Very quirky comedy about the perils of dating, marriage, and other relationships with a great new york feel to the whole thing. Even though it has its "ridiculous" moments, they never veer from believable and there are a ton of great laughs and thoughtful moments.John Stamos is hysterical as smooth talking Cal. And Paulina Pori..whatever, is sexy as ever. Definitely a character study of 20 and 30 somethings trying to solve the mystery of dating in New York. Some great Brooklyn locations add to the mix. Can't wait to see what the director does next. His previous film, Macbeth in Manhattan, I also saw and enjoyed. Two thumbs up
