Horrible film and certainly bad acting. Stupidity seems to be the theme in this film. Stupid caretaker who seemed empty headed when everything was falling around her. Not a clue. And always talking like an Evangelist. The unsuspecting sister stupid not to know from behavior of the psycho sister that trouble was on the way. The father, played by William Moses, not able to tell the bitch off. That leaves the psycho, over played by someone named Giles. Walking around snarling at everyone, clueless of her intentions, in low cut blouses pushing her breasts in your face. Overly made up, you want to wipe the stuff off her face and clean her up. And mostly you cannot wait for her up pence. It's a good LMN movie because of the stupid script and bad acting. Like something so bad you can't put it down. You hate yourself afterwords for even watching it. My vote is zero for this is truly one of the worst films LMN has offered in a long time. And Giles - these other viewers must be blind and deaf to think she deserves any mention at all. Folks, are we watching the same trashy film?

I simply am in love with this movie. I really hope it will be released on DVD so I can watch it as many times as I like. It is an intense story about family, psychological disorders, love and revenge. A cliché lifetime movie? Could have been if it was not for Elizabeth Gillies who plays main character Callie Ross. Gillies really lifts this movie to a higher level, her acting is brilliant. She makes Callie a multi dimensional character, not just the crazy girl, but also likable and funny. That makes you feel sympathy with her even though she makes all the wrong choices. I was really deeply impressed with Liz' acting, she did an outstanding job.

I totally agree with the good reviews this movie got. Killing Daddy's easily the best TV movie I've ever seen. Interesting plot, and very good acting of the main character. I love how the story is told from Callie's point of view so you relate to her even though she is the 'bad guy' (well, girl) in the story. Elizabeth Gillies', who plays Callie, acting is outstanding, she's the other reason you completely relate to Callie. Very well done. The story has a good build up and leads to a dramatic finale. It really captured me and I was really impressed both by the story as the acting. Killing Daddy is my new favorite TV movie! I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes a good psychological thriller/drama.

When you hear "Nickelodeon's Liz Gillies" it automatically wires your brain to think "horrible acting", which is understandable if you've seen some of the shows they put on their channel. However, in this case you couldn't be more wrong. Gillies' performance is near perfection in Killing Daddy (not unlike any other of her projects i.e. Victorious and Animal). Her acting makes it all seem so real and it really makes you feel what she's feeling- as other people have mentioned in their reviews- especially near the end. Not only is the acting above exceptional, but the plot is everything I've ever dreamed to have been. Killing Daddy is like a fanfiction story come to life, but not the shitty kind like 50 Shades of Grey came to be. It's a story that everyone can become interested in because we love the sick idea of it. It's always been in our imagination, but it's finally come to life. And even better than that, the movie is realistic. While watching, you will not roll your eyes at how "cheesy" or " predictable" it is. There's nothing cheesy nor predictable about it, there were twists and turns here and there, but at the same time they weren't so drastic to make you think it's stupid. If you don't believe me, watch the movie. You won't be disappointed!
