Actually to be honest, this probably is the best Bollywood horror to date as I mostly find Bollywood Horror to be lacking substance or good acting or any originality. Not that this is completely original but bits & pieces added together gives it a fresh appeal. However, it has its own pros & cons: Pros: 1. Good Characterisation & acting by lead actor. I found it fresh that the character Rehan was not exactly scared of ghosts but was open to confrontation to the point that he even challenged the ghost.2. Time travel theme. Well what can I say .. I just love time travel fantasy.3. Pretty good overall narrative & direction.4. Good Background score.5. Actually better than quite a bit of Hollywood Horror movies Cons: 1.Charsi Baba or Fakir. His acting was really bad. Why all fakirs/person who seems to know what is going on in Bollywood horror has to act so weird is beyond me. Also, the movie is indirectly sending message that smoking is good for health as his magical puffs were actually healing the person or sending his back in time. Talk about weird. Seems to me somebody in script department was puffing the magical dragon of his own.2. I am not exactly a fan of Exorcist type movies where there has be intervention of God to save the soul/skin. But I understand that not everybody is as daring as Japanese film makers who can make movies reeking of pure evil with an anti-climax ala Ringu or Ju-On 3.Christians might find this movie offensive while Muslims will be proud. This is because in the movies Church Priest recommended them to go to Sufi (Muslim Priest) who can get rid of these things. A church priest will rather recommend an exorcist from their own religion. Lets assume for a minute that he may have recommended someone from Muslim religion as there is none nearby, the fact that evil spirit's presence can be felt in church hallowed grounds & in front of Cross & even when cross was stabbed into Demon possessed Margaret they could just stop it temporarily. However, when demon possessed Margaret's one foot was inside Muslim Holy shrine "Dargah" it was immediately purged/exorcised/destroyed. Seems to me that the movie blatantly shows that one religion is far stronger than other where one religions saint has more power than other religion's God !!! 4. Songs ... While the songs are good but in all honesty the songs took away all the element of horror from the movie.These are just the few points that stood out glaringly for me. I would still say that movie was overall quite good & worth a watch especially if you are not Christian as they will be offended.

Wow. Can't imagine that I just watched a Bollywood horror flick that is absolutely amazing and flawless.Hats off to the writer (Amin Hajee) and director (Vikram Bhatt). I loved 1920 and considered it to the best Indian horror movie but after watching Haunted I feel this one is slightly better with a solid writing and a very engrossing screenplay.The acting by all the actors was top class. Songs and background score were fantastic. Those who enjoy horror stuff should not miss this one.I hope Vikram Bhatt and camp would stick to the same formula of doing non-vulgar and non-erotic stuff (1920, Shaapit and Haunted) and I am sure they will succeed next time as well.I am going to watch Haunted a few more times.

This is the second movie I'm reviewing after 'Ghajini'. Reason is the same...Movie was so Fu****g bad that I decided to review it as a public service.First of all,lets not discredit India's first attempt at a 3D movie. The movie has good depth but how much would you pay to see which character is what distance from the screen.I don't think there are any 'WOW' 3D scenes in the movie and the 3D jitters at times. And if you're the fan of stuff coming out of screen and missing your face... Choose a theater with a really big screen and sit closer to it.In a regular 3D theater no stuff hits your face.Seriously if your going for amazing 3D don't waste your money on this one.And I'm not the only one....this movie is Not scary.All audience was laughing as its really funny at times and the Hero with his cute expressions makes it funnier.And one more thing he dances really well.The script is very cheesy but except for the lead male and female character rest of the cast pulls it off.But the Ghost makeup is really good.The only reason its an adult movie is because it is an ADULT movie.....And in a very awkward way.Even if you're with your girlfriend you will cringe at times.The villain is really really horny...even his ghost...I mean Come on, its a ghost.. and all he can think of is "busty ladies". Makeup was really good but some loud sound effects are totally unnecessary at times.You know the stupid horror in which the director checks your reflexes by popping something on screen with a loud thud... yeah there is a lot of it here. ButOne thing I must say... a big drawback with virtually all horror movies is that the director pulls a lot of strings and when summing up the movie there are big plot holes. This movie is different not because its genius but "the happily ever after" part is actually satisfying.Now the big question.The reason your are here. Who should go see this movie? 1) who gets a free ticket. 2) who wants to see how different people and objects look in 3D and definitely NOT those who want to see special effects in 3D. 3) who worked with Mr.Bhatt in making this movie.One personal note to Mr.Bhatt "Please keep religion/religions out of the movies because its really offensive to some people!!"

Another Vikram Bhatt magic horror Flick after 1920,Shaapit & Raaz.But the surprising thing is Mimoh (Mithun's son)'s acting.The girl also acted well and the ghost also acted well. Some potion of movie(mainly makeup and horror activities) is inspired from Exorcist(which is common for every horror movie).But its not a bad thing..Because Exorcist is the benchmark. The story is interesting.A ghost can not safe herself from another ghost.Music is good.Direction is top notch.Camera work is also good.Now waiting 4 Vikram Bhatt'r next horror Flick-Raaz 3 :DMy rating for this movie 9/10Must watch this movie
