I honestly never thought I would like something starring Cameron Dallas, but here we are. Yes it is very much like Ferris Bueller's Day Off and no, it's definitely not as good. However, it was very entertaining and the acting was good, so I'm happy. So it's not the best movie in the world, or maybe not even the best teen movie, but it was alrighht

View MoreThe basic moral of this story is that you can commit crime after crime, encourage criminal activity with other teenagers, not get jailed, so long as you can blackmail someone not to inform the police. Hilarious?I ended up watching this because my daughters had it playing through Netflix whilst I was working in the same room. This is no pleasant movie and certainly not suitable for children as it encourages repeat criminal behaviour, including hiding felons and jail breaking, hacking, breaking and entering, theft, blackmail, fraud and deceit. I needed to discuss the rights and wrongs of the behaviour encouraged in the movie with my daughters during and at the end; explaining that anyone committing these various acts would be jailed for 20 to 40 years in total. The main character players plays it for laughs as he encourages other to be complicit in his crimes. He badgers his girlfriend and another friend to commit fraud and cover up his crimes, later having them help blackmail someone.Whoever thought this was a good idea for a movie needs to be committed.

What a horrible message is embedded in this badly written and badly acted meaningless script... This "uber-cool" kid is certainly a criminal in training - as is his brother - the offspring of clueless parents whose best efforts are easily upended. What a monstrously insensitive character is portrayed at the center of "Expelled" - a psychopath to be sure. In his wake of senseless evil and destruction no one is left unharmed - and yet at the end somehow he is redeemed. I would say to anyone who is even considering watching this - don't waste a second of your life or your kids lives on this trash.
... View MoreI'm just going to go right ahead and tell you not to waste your time with this. It tries to be some sort of tribute to Hughes' Ferris Bueller's Day Off (FBDO), but instead it is a terrible TERRIBLE attempt at copying it. Felix? Seriously? They couldn't even find a name that wasn't so similar to Ferris. It was obvious from the very first sequences that the concept is basically the same, I mean come on, popular kid; the principal is the "villain"... The Skype call? That's like when Ferris uses his computer to alter the amount of absences he's had in the school's system. Addressing the audience is FBDO's trademark, so to speak. I could go on, but there's no point. If you want to watch an irreverent teen movie that's actually funny and original, watch Ferris Bueller's Day Off, OK? Not this pseudo-comedy.
