Eat locals contains a poor storyline trying to be a new British Shaun of the dead comedy vampire/horror movie and failed dramatically, it is a shame the talented Eve Myles put her name to this amongst other talented actors/actressses, I watched it till the end hoping it would improve but it never did. Don't waste your time with this movie.

Annette Crosbie as a machine gun toting granny is a must see. If your anal about your films then don't watch it but if you like a laugh definitely give it a go.
... View MoreJason Flemyng's directorial debut aspires to be one of those Edgar Wright/Simon Pegg/Nick Frost comedy horror thrillers. However it falls short of the mark by not being funny or too horrific. It also has its share of some not very funny cockneys.Young wide boy Sebastian has been requested to join the council of vampires as their is a vacancy. However some military units have been sent to kill them but a few of the soldiers want to take the vampires alive so their blood can be used for research purposes and they will get plenty of money in exchange. The film is the army against vampires on an all night siege in an isolated farmhouse while Sebastian tries to escape. The film has spirit and a sense of fun. It is hampered by its low budget and a ropey script.
... View Morei did not get it. Is it meant to be a mixture of a mafia flick (vampires gather to administrate turf rights)? I really tried to get into it but in the end my Instagram news feed was more interesting than the movie. Putting a granny with an automatic weapon also does not make a good joke automatically. I could have given 1 star but I did not mean to offend.
