The Plot. A female physician finds no fun in brief affairs. Her luck finally seems to change with her latest lover, but when she learns that he is more interested in her money than her, murder ensues.Let's be honest. You're not viewing this film for the plot. Not for the acting. Not for the writing. Not for the directing. Not for the cinematography. There is only one reason you are watching this movie -- for the female perfection known as Edy Williams. Even when she's in clothes you'll want to make use of your hands. This woman is unmatched in the pursuit of a perfect female face and body. The movie is directed like a porn film, but without the porn -- although Edy is definitely nude all over the movie. So don't pretend you have a higher interest. You are here solely for Edy.

An obscure and low budget item, which mixes the two genres of the sex comedy film and the drama to interesting effect. Although the ever-so tiny budget is clear from the very beginning and there are many "rough edges" in the movie, there are plenty of twists in the story (which goes in some unexpected directions) and some good performances from cast members. Some bad too, but I'll gloss over those as all low budget movies are stuck with them. Being a '70s movie, there's a fair amount of sex and violence on display but nothing too offensive.Taking the lead role is former Russ Meyer regular Edy Williams as the voluptuous (it really goes without saying that she frequently sheds her inhibitions - as well as clothing) Dr Evans, who strikes up a relationship with the schoolboy David Brown, played as a nice-but-dumb character by Harvey Jason. Complicating the plot are the hilarious Randy Boone as Brian Thomas, a friend of David's who also happens to be an amateur detective, Columbo-style. '70s regular William Smith also appears as Gus, a former lover of Williams, who is determined to get half her fortune by fair means or foul.Although the film is quite slow moving throughout, it picks up for the final half an hour with lots of shenanigans involving a corpse and a minor Bonnie and Clyde element to the storyline. The music isn't too intrusive and the film seems to bring out the best of the performers, even if the everyday locations used in the film are plain and drab. Very hard to come by these days, this is best viewed as an interesting obscurity piece which exemplifies the type of low-budget productions made during the mid '70s in America, and is surprisingly deep when on first account it looks like nothing more than a nudie picture.

This is flick that doesn't pop up that regular on the net and if it does it's just on old rental NTSC VHS. You will have to lay your hard earned cash on the desk to get yourself a copy. You don't want to get it for the acting because sometimes it's so wooden, just look at the one acting like he's Peter Falk, Columbo, cigar and raincoat included, even the poses he made he imitates. The storyline is about a doctor who takes patients back home to have sex with them but naturally she has a man and is being killed as the story unfolds. She's being helped by one of her patients. Why a cop suddenly go looking to a house were things went wrong, nobody knows. But of course being made in the seventies this flick is a pure example of a drive-in one. Just look at the beginning, nudity from Edy Williams and I guess most people hunt this flick for only to see her going undressed. It's only jugg time for her,it's weird because at that time most females went full frontal. But listen to her voice, the way she speaks is pure porno. But the editing and sound is really good for this kind of flicks, most actors made it into the scene, some still acting today. If you are into drive-in then this is for you, otherwise leave it.

Edy Williams in a starring dramatic/sexy role, a miniscule budget, an impossible-to-believe scenario, horrid acting, and bad writing come together to make this one delightful viewing experience. Our film opens with the telltale copulatory squeals of Ashley St Ives, I mean Dr. Carol Evans, coming from the upstairs bedroom of an ordinary Southern California house with ugly furniture. We quickly discover the guy she's with wants the money she got when her husband, who was heavily insured, died. One thing leads to another and we find Dr Evans mounting some high school kid with a Georgia accent who lives with his parents and shlepping around a corpse, while running away from a Peter Falk-as-Columbo impersonator who may or may not be wearing a hairpiece and we are led to believe is a high school buddy of the aforementioned mountee. Private citizens exercise their right to bear arms, Edy has a shining Oscar moment, and the film ends.Highly recommended grindhouse/drive-in trash!
