NO SPOILERS. Intro: This review will be aimed at viewers who have not seen this film. It's undoubtedly a masterpiece and Ridley Scott's best. I'm talking about the Final Cut, and having seen all cuts, watch the final one; By FAR the best. I say it's the best sci-fi because I believe the originals Star Wars trilogy is science fantasy. Advice: This needs to be watched multiple tiles. The first time I watched it, I split into two nights as my Dad said, the first hour one night, then the second hour the next. The first time I watched the first hour, I wasn't convinced by the hype. I saw great visuals, sets and characters, but a confusing theme. It couldn't be identified. I paused after an hour with aspects I did like a lot, but with a few small queries. The second night, I was engrossed. I loved everything about it. The next night I watched the full thing. And my goodness it is amazing. Main advice - Watch at night when dark. It gets you in the mood for the film. What's so great: Simply, it's the fantastic main character and Harrison Ford, an iconic score, Rachel, Roy Batty, and the visuals and overall look of the film. It may be slow, but the slowness results in an excellent sense of catharsis for me. It engrosses me. I feel like I am Rick Deckard. Highlights: The opening titles, Deckard meeting Rachel, Deckard's hunt and investigation, and Roy's famous monologue. Conclusion: One of my favourite films and has a deservedly great fandom. The anti-hero (?), Rick Deckard is brilliant. Harrison Ford is a guy's hero for all ages; Han Solo, Indiana Jones and Rick Deckard. A tremendous film with a brilliant look to it and an even more brilliant story. I love every second. 10/10

I'm a big Sci-fi fan but this film tried to do too much psychologically. Overrated and doesn't deserve the general rating. Worth a watch to pass judgement yourself

I thought it'll be a movie after "Do androids dream of electric sheep" novel. Boy, was I wrong. This movie is after... nothing that makes any bit of sense. The film makers decided to thoroughly recreate some not-so-important scenes from the while entirely omitting all the context, all the plot, almost all the philosophy - all the substance of the book. And all the common sense. This is easily the most boring movie I've ever forced myself to sit through. And while whether you get bored or not is a matter of perception, it's a cold hard fact that the movie has no substance.
