Well first of all shout-out to Tom Hanks for making the fiction look real and owning his character. Second if this movie was a project which I think it was then let me just say that it had the best arrangements that I have ever come across in my life. To second that thought I'd say this was the right movie for the director Zemeckis to prove that even a cash cow director could bewilder fans with his movie magic. Now about the movie, a normal person would say that this movie has got sadness, comedy, seriousness and a load of other stuff which makes a perfect blend. But I'm sorry as I have sincerely watched this movie and found out a couple more things than just genre-defying components. To start with this movie revolves around the central character and the central character holds dear to himself a few other characters so the movie also includes extra screen time for them, now the reason I have mentioned this fact is to make you realize that this is not about a person who has lived an extra-ordinary life and has changed the world with his feats, but quite the opposite. It is instead a movie about a simple honest man who has been around only a few people his whole lifetime and although of his non-credited contributions to the society he still remains intact with his loved ones. This creates a lot a way for the movie to be so mesmerizing but in the same time also be so sweet. End of story.

It was very good movie and it motivates me to keep going foward by leaving all the past that haunts you all this time.

In whole, I have seen this movie 5 times. This is one of the great movies of modern times, and it's beloved by many. As someone on the autism spectrum, this movie speaks to me more than it would to others. Forrest, despite having a low IQ, graduates high school, fights in Vietnam, witnesses the Watergate scandal, marries his only love, and makes many more accomplishments. While I don't expect to do most of that, it holds hope that I can be just as important in the world. That alone makes it worthy enough for me to give it 10 stars!

One of my favourite movie of all time! I love the way Forrest runs when his leg brace falls off.
