Blood and Bone has a very mediocre plot, the fighting scenes are quite good and the acting is nothing to criticize. I wouldn't say much about this movie, the opening scene delivers and does the job of hooking you right into the movie.Blood and Bone is a movie that had great potential to become something big.6.5/10

You know lads this film was an absolute banger. Few years back a mate big Tyler recommended it to me, 3 years down the line and I've finally watched it. what a film; fighting is smashing, smashing is fighting. All in all what a film. I especially love the character of Hammer-man as he reminds me of the rapper David Banner. Sorry lads but that's all i have to say, apparently these fools want your favorite geezer here to write 10 lines, I don't work like that mate. so sadly now I have to finish these 10 lines on a downer because all that's great about Blood and Bone can be summed up in the lines above. peace out my friends, I'll see you in the next review. This 10th line is the end, goodbye my friends.

When it comes to fighting-movies, I am not that big on championships and ring-fighting. I'd rather see fighting in normal settings. This film is a pretty good mix, though. The street fights, or arranged fights if you will, are pretty entertaining, and they are not that many. The movie is basically made to show of what a bad ass fighter Michael Jai White is, and the movie succeeds pretty well. He might be a little too bad ass though, because there is not a lot of tension here. The fighting is good. Brutal and well choreographed. A little sloppy a couple of times, but I'm picky. Michael Jai White seems to have some serious skill. The acting is pretty good, well, alright at least. I didn't care much for the "protagonist" at first, but he grew on me. The "drama" in between the fighting is alright, it doesn't drag you in quite as much as it should, but not bad.Put Jai White in a bigger budget movie with a really good fight choreographer, and we'll have ourselves a classic!

This movie is what I expected it to be, a not so deep martial arts film where an inmate gets out of prison and starts fighting in the streets but for a deep cause. The fighting scenes( the most important part of the film) where good but could be a little more interesting and last longer, the acting was mediocre and Michael stand out from the others. The plot is really cliché and not very interesting. It isn't very violent and lacks nudity so you can watch it with family, provided that the kids are older than 13 years old. You will not regret watching this movie but you will not remember it long after watching it either. Good film but not great!
