Political drama with no new ground covered. Stale dialogue and forced performances relegate this to the level of garbage found within the lowest rated video titles crammed on to sites like netflix. Adrien Grenier and Mimi Rogers careers have gone nowhere lately and this effort most certainly won't help their cause. I can't see any point in making mediocre films like this. Avoid 1/10.

This was a good story. The actors were well chosen. They sure look like the types we see around politicians now. There was a lot of political rhetoric that was shallow and tawdry. Could be that's how it is today. Sad, but possibly true. Maybe politics was always like this and we just didn't know it. It's crazy that this is what we've come to.

I went into this knowing it had received less then glowing reviews but the trailer seemed interesting. In the end I thoroughly enjoyed it and found it very entertaining. I can't help but believe that much of the sleaziness it portrays does go on behind the scenes in DC from both the right and the left, all you have to do is read the scandals from years past. David Corenswet is very believable in the lead and well cast as someone using his looks and "other attributes" to get ahead since he is tall and gorgeous. The casting is perfection, Mimi Rogers is a standout but everyone is great. I think movies should entertain and this one certainly did. If you enjoy watching corrupt characters do sleazy things in the bedrooms, bathrooms , parking garages and gutters of Washington, this is well worth your time.
