....is the last line that Dr Earl Hill/Frank Langella utters in this saga. And therein lies the best way to sum up this telemovie that is catastrophic, but for all the wrong reasons.Pity he didn't pay more attention to it when he read this thing & agreed to do it!Apparently, more lines are required to make this review valid! Really? What else is there to say? Not bad enough to be "so bad, it's good". Every clichéd piece of dialogue that has ever graced a bad telemovie, gathered together & trotted out one after the other. Is that enough now??!!!

Sunami's are not that huge in the middle of the ocean, they travel just above the surface till they get close to land. It started off the California coast traveling west. It hit Hawaii on the west side traveling east, I guess they just wanted to hit Waikiki for the camera. The ship did not turn into the wave as all ships would when face with big waves. A few other events were similar. Other than that it was a pretty good story and good movie. The acting was good and scenes were good. There was no mention of the huge volcano located under Yellowstone Park, when trying to talk of the history of the continent, they should have included that.

I don't know if anything here is a spoiler or not, but I'll include the warning...just to be safe. But first, a different type of warning...a WARNING TO THOSE WHO MAY BE SUBJECT TO SEIZURES: DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE. (Sorry for the shouting.) The horrific camera work (the zoom lens on the camera was apparently stuck in an in/out/in/out/... mode, and they apparently didn't have the budget for another camera) is so bad that I've had to turn the TV off...I didn't get that warning feeling, but the headache was so bad I could easily imagine it being next...and this movie is NOT worth a Grand Mal seizure...trust me!Also, I only rated this a "1" out of 10 because there isn't a "0".Possible spoiler here....Wasn't Dr. Hill's (Kim Delaney) father mentioned as being DEAD in the original 10.5? Or am I thinking of another movie?

Pity I came into it a little after 9:00 p.m. I got involved in this sequel very quickly.The characters made me forget the science gaffes; they're right up there with 1970's Earthquake as I care for all of them. A better movie this go around. Character types more broader in terms of physical appearance--and personal conflict pushed miles away. And thank God there's more than one character possessing sense! There's 2 wonderful African-American ladies respectively working with the military and a disaster committee in continual touch with the president. Beau Bridges is back as the president and with a few tweaks to the script, his president doesn't have to ride solely on his acting. He seemed like he was straining to appear real in the 1st 10.5--not here. Human drama is beautifully underplayed. No whining couples failing getting it together until the last half our of movie. Especially wish Langella had been in the original; he gives the film a dash pizazz the first seriously lacked.Not to say this movie is without flaws. We have the EMT person working to save his wife--What chance in blue blazes that would happen unless one's just ready to leave for work? The sudden fast camera break-aways and good ol' 10.5 jiggly cam; but both are mild compared to good ol' Cloverfield. The technical element that's really bad is the Nuclear plant--couldn't they have built a scale down model instead of the computer generated crap? Alright last one's nitpicking and again like the camera pans and jiggly-wiggles are comparatively mild. Sad I missed the beginning hanging around to see the end.
