Good plot that would be great for a movie but not for a tv show. This show is absolutely torturous to watch, the repetitive shouting of 'Jake,Jake,Jake!!!!' Throughout every episode would drive anyone insane, I got to episode 4 and had to give up, then if you touch the child he has an absolute freak attack, even when he's caught after he falls off a 8 story building, absolutely ridiculous and the constant panting and out of breath and questions of the father is ridiculous after 4 episode and seeing the son predicting things he still questions everything, he also runs aimlessly around New York City to all these random spots it's probably the worse show I've ever seen
... View MoreI fell apon this late, 5 years late to be honest but thoroughly enjoyed it. Shame it only had 2 series. I would have liked more.
... View MoreWell, I guess the bad reviewers win. Show Canceled. Good for you all. Here is my issue with today's TV shows. Not everyone enjoys, likes, or even understands certain shows. Very understandable. Some Folks are into murder and mystery, yadda yadda. What makes me mad is even if viewership wasn't what Fox expected, there still must be an end to every show. Touch left its fans without an ending. Sorry, people that didn't care for the show because Keifer wasn't killing someone. Some of us actually enjoyed Touch and its story-line. Then the end of season 2 came with so many unanswered questions, then we waited and waited for the season 3 premiere date, then we finally realized there won't be any. Show canceled like so many others. So many others that just left their fans hanging forever. I've seen shows run 8+, hell, 20+ and still going the same as the pilot. Someone gets killed, many suspects get drilled, 1 gets arrested at the end. Next week.....REPEAT.....every week, season after season. Thank God for Netflix and others. Just take a show and binge it instead of picking a new 1, just for it to get canceled after 1-2 seasons. That is why viewership on networks is down. Too many new shows every year. Touch wasn't the best show out there, but they could have at least closed some of the unanswered questions. My fox days are over. I'm done with network TV. hopefully, many more join me.
... View MoreThe show was inspirational, new and unique. The complex world can be explained if given the right circumstances. We need the answers that the show gives. Making (even tho it's just a show) us feel 'peace of mind' and comfort and making it all make sense. The show is about a very special boy who sees the world different than most of us. With the help of his father (Kiefer Sutherland), they somehow every week make the world a little smaller and life a little brighter. By changing one small thing in your life, like turning 'left' instead of turning 'right' the differences can be amazing or devastating. This show shows you how amazing life can be.They have canceled the show. But you can watch it on DVD or on the web. It's worth the time!!
