The tv series titled o mecanismo is a fictional account of how the political scenario playa out in Brazil in reality. The concept and storyline is very unique and brave for Netflix to embrace as it requires a niche audience which is interested in shows which involve politics and fiction. The show is predicted as a thriller in the trailer. On watching the whole season 1 my views are that it exceeds expectations as a binge watch worthy sitcom fit for achieving cult status in the league of "How to get away with murder". The show keeps up the pace of a page turning mystery novel throughout the season. As far as acting is concerned each and every cast member have given award worthy performances. In case of continuity for the next season I would hope that the creators don't ruin the show by changing the pace and introducing too much of current affairs into the same. Overall this show is a masterpiece which can become a cult favorite depending on how the creators take it forward.

This series should be watched by all people of Latin America. It shows the fight of the decent, common citizens against the cancer of structural corruption that rots all our governments and societies. The acting is excellent and the story is gripping. Cannot wait for season 2!

As the comments here and the rates, this show is a political war against Lula and PT and more in general, every non liberal process in Latin America for the past decades. The show is not good even in technical reviews. This is the world in we live in. See this only if you are a rich, white, racist, and not much clever person in Brazil, or just for scientific reasons, to get to know the mechanism of the propaganda.

If you're interested in policial cases involving political power I believe you will love It. Obviously is a Brazilian case with not so much famous people in the world (like Trump, Obama, Bush or whoever), but you can understand how Brazil works. It's important to say that the "Car Wash Operation" still on going and the end is not written yet.
