Simplistic reportage by a simple-minded reporter who will never understand what the people she interviews are telling her. It's a technically well-crafted motion picture, but lacks a realistic story. This society lady can go to war zones as many times as she wants and talk to all the soldiers she wants and she will still never understand what they are going through -- before, during or after. I'm sure she had good intentions, but this overly dramatic, heart-on-the-sleeve retelling of the story has only the impressions of a lady reporter garnered from a distance, not the complex impressions of soldiers or their families. This lady should stick to writing something she actually knows about first hand, not just something she finds fascinating. And yes, I'm a veteran.

War Criminals showed as Heros in a Drama-Film. What will be the next Film? Heros of the ISIS-Road to Moussul?

These made for TV series do no justice to the reality of being in a war zone and never will,the poor acting adds to the feeling of the unrealism and characters that you don't care if they live or die due to having no likable characteristics. The cleanliness of it all and the lets be in church in our Sunday best and everybody looks like a soccer mom doesn't fit well to the whole thing,luckily the child with a bad foot who the Americans couldn't of wished for a more used character type to hobble over didn't take long to appear and neither did the well used stereotypical unfriendly locals the gunfire scenes were reminiscent of an episode of the a-team where the odds of winning the lottery were greater than getting hit by one of the 4 million bullets flying about,unfortunately after episode one i think the best thing to do is go awol and declare yourself a consiencious objector.
