I bought the first 4 dvd set I've watched homeland the blacklist prisoners of war now this is absolutely great SKY TV this is awesome .

Just started watching this series, so far...very bad! For starters, this series, at least in the beginning, knows nothing about military culture, military knowledge and military regulations. I heard the ex-Iraq war veteran rattle off alphanumeric characters and it's NOT: "oh" for zero, actor does not know the phonetic alphabet either. He rattles of "a", "b", etc., and not the military alphabet. The blonde agent in the military wears long hair, but it's not to be worn long when in uniform. Rules & regulations are there for a reason, especially the U.S. and Great Britain military and in my view, makes "Strike Back" look particularly stupid and shabby by not adhering to military customs when filming a military-style series. Seems to me that a premium channel showing this type of series, also the producers and directors filming the series should have enough knowledge than to present this potentially enjoyable series as so much incorrect trash to the public.

Watched S6 E1 last night and was very disappointed, thank goodness I have Seasons 1-5 on DVD, because I won't watch anymore of this new poor imitation of Strike Back. One example of how off this new season is... Near the end of E1 one of the female leads says to the new male leads, "Why don't you two just kiss and get it over with?" The two new male leads look at each other dumbfounded, while the other female lead walks by them and smirks. That one scene is reason enough to never what this politically correct trash again. Earlier, one of the female leads walks in on one of the new male leads and catches him almost naked, then she makes three insulting remarks implying that he has small equipment. Can you imagine if she said something like that to Scott? Unfortunately female empowerment is spinning out of control. In the US 29 women are running for, or planning to run for governor of their state. It's the end of the world as we know it. One female, Andria Merkle, has single-handedly just about destroyed western civilization in Europe. Can you imagine what 29 female governors will do to America? I'm thankful we had 5 great seasons of Strike Back.

Lots of action, lots of twists and turns, solid writing acting directing. I watched this when it first came out and now im binge watching it again. If you like the Action / Thriller / Spy genres i dont see how you wouldnt like this show. The location shoots are also pretty amazing. Usually delivered with a nice gritty view that marries well with the subject matter.
