It seems there will be no Season 5, at least not on TNT.Understandable, as the writing of the fourth season has gone down hill considerably compared to the first two seasons. And it was not just the writing, the stunts and special effects were also lacking.Take episode 'And the Graves of Time'. The fighting stunts were terrible, almost as bad as some of the "Superheroine" clips found on YouTube. I know that both Rebecca Romijn and Rachel Nichols can do better, so I am not blaming them. This whole bit about having to round up "magical artifacts" has been done much better, both on the the Friday the 13th TV series (now renamed Friday's Curse), and Warehouse 13.Of the episodes of Season 4, I did like 'And the Silver Screen'. It had something that was lacking on many of the other episodes, a good plot and suspense, even if some of the elements had been done before (see the above two TV series). If there is a Season 5 somewhere, I may still watch it, but I hope it gets better than Season 4.

I love this show. A great way to relax after a stressful day for the whole family. The writers are creative in the way they merge together real and imaginary villains from books adding in a little history, math problems, science along with myths and fictional stories. I also love the fact that all the characters are strong in different areas and rely on one another to solve the Library's problems.

One tv show I never want to miss. I DVR it so I can rewatch it on the weekends. I hope they renew it for another season.

The Librarian movies were cool, but the series not so much...To be fair, the series does stick to the formula, but also tries to cram to much into a tinier time slot...don't get me wrong, it is a good show, it's just that you lose some of the magic when you have to rush the plots. Each story is rather unique, so that's a plus. Maybe I'm just old fashioned...OK, to the meat of it. Noah Wyle was originally suppose to guest star in the series, in a recurring role. Yet, when it got well into production, he ended up showing up in virtually every episode, having to carry the show...it became so obvious, that the four young Librarians were relegated to the supporting actor category...that didn't impress me, really. Each of them is rather entertaining by themselves, and shouldn't have had to prop up Wyle's performances...that's my take on it.
