But, the show is really good. It's an invention of the week cartoon. Jimmy Neutron is not a rip off of Dexter's Lab. For starters, the prototype of Jimmy Neutron, Johnny Quasar, was shown as early as 1995. Second, the characters are handled in a totally different way.So yeah, good show.

If you feel down in life, go watch jimmy neutron. Its so funny that i laughed so hard when i was a kid that i dedicated Carl as the strongest anime character ever,Just Kidding. With its funny humor, its messed up plots which are good, and its funny to listen to voice acting, i can say that what i'm watching is a reverse version of scaredy squirrel and the Butt Ugly Martians. As you can see, this show is sorta like Dexter's Laboratory, but what splits Dexter from Jimmy is the characters, Jimmy acts like a boy and his parents know about his lab, while Dexter hides his creations from his family and acts like a scientist. When this show hits, it hits not just the fans and kids of today, but the Dank Memers on Instagram use them which like johnny bravo proves that you can add jimmy neutron anywhere. The inventions are so advanced that i can recall Jimmy Neutron to help us destroy ISIS. Jimmy as a character has the enjoyable trait of Rolie/Bart/and Martin Prince. The Animation is good CGI that i rarely get from nickelodeon, we usually get AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAlvinnnn and the chipmunks, planet sheen, and Fanboy and *beep**beep*. With its humor, inventions, and struggles Jimmy goes through, I can asure my favorite character, is Carl Wheezer, he has the best quotes, voice, and motions in the show, Once His *beep* was pregnant, and i laughed out of my couch and into the floor to laugh. If you see Jimmy Neutron, then i recommend sit in your seat and wittiness the exotic humor.

I grew up with this series, and I'll be the first to admit that some of the criticisms from other reviews regarding are founded. The early episodes test the waters with bog standard plots and jokes for your average cartoon, but as the show finds its identity, it gets better and better. And though episodic, it does contain a surprising variety of continuity nods. Not bad for a kid's cartoon. One of my favorite things about the show is how the characters grow from a bunch of little jerks who are always putting each other down to good friends who come in clutch when they're really needed. Their relationships grow as well; Jimmy and Cindy's rivalry never really goes away, but they start to see each over differently time. Libby still finds Sheen pretty lame, but endearing at the same time.Speaking of relationships, comedy series often run on a dynamic of tropes (or roles) that become more clearly defined in the later episodes. Jimmy usually leads all of the adventures, and invents something new for every one of the problems kids face in life (such as a hovermobile for getting lost on a stranded island to prove a point and going to Egypt with his friends to get out of a boring classroom video). The rival, as you would expect, is Cindy, who acts on her inferiority complex by aggressively challenging Jimmy's intellect every chance she gets. Though intelligent in her own right, she is no match for Jimmy, and even admits it at certain points. She's no different from many female rivals in these types of cartoons in that she secretly develops feelings for Jimmy, but this is a relatively minor trait that comes into being during the Valentine's Day episode, and flickers in small doses later on.Libby starts off second fiddle to Cindy, and plays along with most of her attention-seeking behavior. Over time, she develops into the voice of reason, and a mediator to Jimmy and Cindy's arguments. Her musical obsession is both a defining character trait and a running gag.Sheen plays the role of the lively comic relief fairly well. I often find myself laughing at him more than the other characters or situations they get into. Other than his fondness for action figures and Libby, there isn't much to him.Of course, every series has to have its Scrappy, or it wouldn't be funny (sigh). In this case, it's definitely Carl. He's a rotund, bespectacled, annoying character who has a penchant for ruining plans, making bad decisions, and getting everyone in trouble. Whenever there is an adventure, he receives the most insignificant role so that he doesn't mess everything up. During the episode in which they have superpowers, he gets the lamest and most useless one by far: the supersonic burp. And since the writers couldn't see him paired with anyone even remotely normal, they make him crush on Jimmy's characterless mom. Yuck. Most of the group makes it pretty clear they don't really like him, but he tends to tag along anyway (much like Scrappy!).After a while, as the characters become more than just run-on jokes, the series turns into less of a dull comedy and more of an adventure. Name any place they can go, and they've probably already been there (and broken it). Overall, it's a fun watch.

    Very Cool

Crap. Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap. It's an annoying, pathetic excuse for a cartoon that doesn't deserve it's time slot. A time slot that could be used for a much better cartoon like Fairly OddParents or SpongeBob. The person who came up with Jimm Neutron is either a - no. I'll stop right now. Why?. Because, I'm 14 and this show is aimed at a younger age group. Maybe kids find it's stupid, annoying characters and unbelievingly dull plots amusing. I don't know. I hate it. Here's why....The characters: are all terrible, annoying, uninteresting weirdos that make you wanna hang them. Jimmy's dad (Hugh or whatever his name is) acts and moves like a homicidal maniac that should be locked up in an insane asylum, and his obsession with ducks is just plane disturbing. Sheen is the same situation. He looks like he'd commit murder just to get his hands on the newest Ultra Lord action figure. And, may I ask, what is up with Carl and his sinister love of llamas? That is just not right, I tell you, not right. Jimmy is not as completely terrible as the other characters, but he is still completely terrible, especially as a lead character. At least his not psychologically disturbed like everyone else on this show. The animation: is waaaaaaay too exaggerated. Jimmy's dad moves like what I described him to resemble above. Sheen has those weird and sinister shifty eyes... he's definitely up to something. I know that it is a cartoon, and it shouldn't be too realistic but this is pushing it too far. And one more thing, why does everyone run like an old granny? The jokes: there's a saying that goes something along the lines of ''a joke's only as funny as the person who tells it''. Well, as I already expressed my opinions on the characters who tell the jokes, you probably know that I think the jokes are also crap. They all either fall flat on their face, or are ruined by the horrible characters. Which is a shame as there's some jokes that would actually have been quite funny on another show. There are other problems. Like, why does Jimmy (being the Einstein that he is) hang out with brain dead idiots like Carl and Sheen? Why did the people who make this show feel it necessary to include romance when this show is clearly for small children who aren't interested in that kind of thing.Well, that's my opinion. You may well disagree but that you're opinion. As for me, I'll be avoiding this show as long as it haunts the TV schedule.
