courage the cowardly dog is a very classic show. but its not for little kids. its very morbid and dark. there was a episode were these murderers come back from the dead. and try to sacrifice muriel. there's a episode called freaky fred. were there's a barber named fred who wants to shave animals and people and does so with horror music in the background. and later gets taken back to the mental institution. there's a character named katz who kills people. there's a really dark episode were this cat wearing a mask. beats up courage. and a dog is a pimp who beats his two charges and even threatens to bury them. and there's a episode called the demon in the mattress which is another one of the darkest episodes. were muriel gets possessed by a demon and her head spins around and falls off on the bed. with that being said i think courage the cowardly dog is not for little kids. and is a very good show for teens and adults.

This is a very well-made cartoon! All of the characters are very interesting. First of all, it is a very smart cartoon. By smart, I mostly mean mature, because it is better at handling adult subjects than many adult cartoons I've seen. For example, there is an episode titled "The Mask", and it handles domestic abuse and lesbianism well.Second of all, it is a very creepy and disturbing cartoon. The villains and imagery always sent chills down my spine as a kid. It works as a good show to watch during Halloween.Lastly, it is a very funny cartoon! It also always made me laugh! If you love horror and comedy, this is a lovable show. :)

The plot; an elderly farm couple lives in the middle of Nowhere where spooky things happens. It's up to Courage to save the day! I started watching this with my kids. Now they are grown, I still love it! Now I watch it with my granddaughter.Apparently John Dillworth must have grown up on the Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits because the stories remind me somewhat of those classics. Add the wild takes of the king of cartoons Tex Avery and BINGO! A funny cartoon that can be enjoyed by young and old. But yet at the same time could be a safe scare for little kids.Where Scooby-Doo started out good but got watered down over the years, Courage didn't seem get dummied down. Like the Twilight Zone it could be scary, make you laugh, or even make you cry a little. If you are 4, 40, or 80 you can enjoy this show because it is entertaining for all ages!

This is quite the little show. I love it! I enjoy watching the otherworldly adventures of the neurotic pink sausage-dog: Courage the Cowardly Dog. It's very funny, what usually makes me laugh the most is when Eustace gets hurt. I despise Eustace, and luckily he gets killed or hurt in almost every episode. And most of the time, it's a happy reunion between Courage and Muriel at the end. Yep, Courage's adventures usually center around rescuing the clueless-but-loving Muriel and her crotchety (evil?) husband. The things this dog does fo' love.Overall, this show is funny, somewhat dark, and very unique; most people who watch it at least like it.
