I just finished watching the 13 episodes from season 1 and it was amazing. I just couldn't get enough the plot keeps you in alert and there are turns of events you can't begin to imagine. I am waiting for a new season. will this be going to happen?? hopefully yes! Actors are great and they are playing very professional. Kathrine was always a great actor and she always could just play anything so I cannot understand why the show got cancel. in the way season 1 finished, season 2 can lead us anywhere the writes of the show would dear to imagine. I don't understand how sometimes a show like homeland gets 4 seasons and it still running and such a great TV show with such a smart story line and a well created team of actors gets canceled!

They could really have kept this going, had they just gone a bit simpler. Making the story-line a bit more human with some additional real-life touches would have kept it going for at least another couple seasons. It's a fine line that keeps shows engaging, and this was a clear example of one that just missed the mark. The look of this production was as good as anything out there today, but audiences need characters they can look forward to seeing week after week. SOA came close, but just fell short in having folks caring for those on screen. Never a huge fan of Katherine Heigl, she was not the issue in this production, as matter of fact this was one of the better outings she's been part of for quite some time. There's a fine line when someone can step back and critique.. and when principals want to listen, it seriously can matter to an astonishing degree.

I love this show and I want more it! I watched all thirteen episodes yesterday and today. Folks can go on and on about this and that, unrealistic, corny, not exciting enough, but bottom line, it is great to see women and people of color in strong roles. We don't see enough of that when we turn on action television. There could be a little less stereotyping of Middle Eastern people as the leaders of terrorism. The show itself disproves the stereotype a little as there are those persuaded to follow (aka "the disenfranchised"), and yes, there are obviously some evil Americans, but still, the leaders of all terror are without a doubt shown to be Middle Eastern, supporting the stereotype. That could be mixed up a bit. Other than that, this show is a good "escape from the world and immerse yourself in a story" television. And it does this without having your anxiety cranked to 11. I have enough anxiety from real life. "State of Affairs" has given me good entertainment and let me relax while watching. I want another season!

First off, I would like to say that people basing off judging this show just because they have insecurity issues over beautiful women such as Katherine Heigl seriously need to get over them selves and enroll themselves into THERAPY now. This is not the place for your negative views on life or people you do not personally know in REAL life. She is an actor, it's her job to act, so just because "you read on TMZ" that she is a "drama queen" and she is a horrible woman does not justify your "review" for her life or her acting skills. So.... go... to therapy now!!! Now as for the show, It is the best show I've watched since Homeland and hope that it does not get cancelled over a number of bummed out wanna-be critics on the internet. The story and plot lines are REALLY GOOD and cannot wait for season 2 to start!!! I give it 10 **********.So for NBC or the producers to cancel this show over some bad apples or some sour ones would be a complete waste of viewers times and I, for one will boycott NBC if they do!!
