So, I started watching this late (2012). I'm an 18 year old girl and a huge fan of Demi, but I wasn't really expecting to laugh that much or like it. I used to watch Hanna Montana when I was younger and I loved it but it never got me hooked.With this, I was hooked. The pilot wasn't bad but the second episode was brilliant. I was literally in tears the whole time and I had to go back some parts and watch again, I just had to! The Goods:1. TheComedy isn't just for little kids, actually I think it's a very 'grown up' show. I mean, I taught a Disney show would be suitable for a 12 year old not me, but I was actually enjoying the whole thing. It's a nice feeling to watch a clean yet funny show. (Like if you watch 2 broke girls, that's a dirty kind of funny. I love both shows, a lot.)--So, I think every age can enjoy this. Specially over 16!2. Demi Lovato --She is a funny person herself but she is so natural in this. Sunny is the most likable character in a show I've ever seen. She's funny, sweet, stupid at times but yet very smart, stubborn, and she just wants to do the right thing which ends up badly every time. she is real, I feel like Sunny and Demi are the same person cause she plays sunny so naturally and I love Both.3. Other characters --Sometimes the two boys annoy me a bit. Zora is so funny but some times a little annoying as well. I LOVE Marshal, he is such a loser it's painful to be him but yet, he is indeed a nice guy. I love Dakota, she's so cute and the little girl is really a good actress. The Teacher is average, I don't really like Sunny's mom and then there's Chad... He is so easy to look at, so cute. He is funny, suppose to be annoying and self centered but I can't stop smiling and loving him! Maybe it's Sterling, I don't know... He is my second favorite character after Sunny. And Both of them together, OMG.4. The customs : don't really like Tawni's clothes but Sunny's clothes are so amazing. Pretty much everything she wears, I want. The shoes are amazing as well. I really like how they know the characters so well that they never miss an outfit. The clothes always work! Specially Sunny's. (Demi wears them well! :D)5. The check it out girls! You have to watch for them, they come I think in episode 4 of season 1 and they stick with the show till the end, I'm so happy they do.I think this show is Funny, positive, cute, addicting, charming, likable, entertaining (Not just by being funny, it has music, fashion, guest stars, events happening that are so crazy!) and it's really a good show. I understand if people say the acting isn't that good, but that's what makes it even better! Trust me, it won't bother you. Demi (Sunny) is the best actress then Tiffany (Tawni).Give it a try, it's a change for someone who is not used to Disney channel shows. Clean, innocent and funny! Check it out.10/10

There are some shows on the Disney Channel I do not like, Hannah Montana especially, but Sonny with a Chance surprisingly along with Phineas and Ferb is one of the better shows on the Disney channel for me. I would also go as far to say it is the best of the situation comedies aired on the channel, and it is a shame it isn't appreciated as much as it is for my money.When it started, with exception of the slow start that is the pilot, Sonny with a Chance was absolutely hilarious with a lot of charm and heart to boot, so I found it so easy to get into. Season 2 is still good and watchable with the chemistry between the actors still evident, if not as funny or as charming.Production values-wise, Sonny with a Chance is one of the best looking and more stylish shows on Disney. It doesn't have cheap photography or sets, instead the sets are colourful, the fashions and clothes are stylish and trendy and the photography is credible enough without being award-worthy.I love the music too. In fact, Sonny with a Chance is one of the main reasons why I am starting to appreciate this style of music a lot more, the main theme is energetic and memorable especially.What struck me in a good way about Sonny with a Chance was the writing. While there is the odd cheesy line, there are plenty of snappy ones to more than make up for it mixed with the ironic camp I have seen mentioned here. A vast majority of the physical comedy makes me smile too. Not only is Sonny with a Chance hilarious and clever, I could actually tell that a lot of heart had gone into creating the scripts and story lines.Speaking of the story lines, while simple they are much better structured and written than shows like Hannah Montana and Cory in the House, and are much less cheesy and clichéd than those shows as well. Also the heart is there, especially with Hannah Montana there is either not enough heart or none at all. There may be the odd predictable resolution or plot-point, but thankfully it isn't predictable all the time.The characters are at least likable also even with their flaws and have a humanity and depth to them. Tiwani is my favourite I think, that laugh of hers is truly infectious. Sonny is well-meaning and headstrong, not to mention pretty, while Chad manages to be likable while being cocky as well. Nico and Grady are funny and zany, and I love their exciting and amusing adventures, while Zora while having her occasional annoying (in a good way) moments makes me laugh and smile.The acting makes this one of the better acted live-action Disney Channel shows. Demi Lovato is positively adorable with great comic timing, and Sterling Knight shows a very able chemistry with her. As Tiwani, Tiffany Thornton often steals the show on several occasions and is always a joy to watch.In conclusion, a very entertaining show and one of the better Disney Channel shows. 9/10 Bethany Cox

Not everything is funny in it, especially when they play the laughter.But I laugh here and there, and when it has a good plot, I get excitedto know what's going to happen next. It's actually a really decent show.Demi Lovato is a good actor, but can over-do it sometimes. It is kindof cheesy, but it's a good show. One of the best shows on Disney Channel.At best, 7/10.. It's worth watching and you get attached. I really like it. Chad and Sonny seem cute together, but I just find the character Zora to be really annoying.

I don't get it and they promote their "Texas life" to the public. I love Demi but it seems like Demi was only picked because she was, you know, from Texas. Tiffany was, and most other stars were, except maybe three or four.Anyway, my rant is over. SWAC is not the best show ever, but it doesn't contain a secret like all the other shows. It has realism, but it most certainly doesn't have comedy in the sketches. The sketches on the show are supposedly the funniest things about it. I just think that the sketches are dumb and unneeded. Gassie? Disney's run out of ideas.I also think that Disney needs a show that has no shallow characters and none that are stereotyped.
