I thought that Taina was a good show, but not great, and my favorite character of the whole show believe it or not is Maritza, I love it when she wears leather pants and I actually had a crush on her despite that she can be obnoxious, Daniel and Lamar are the ones I could do without and I actually also like Renee 'Nee' cause she is a wisecracker, overall this show doesn't deserve any bad reviews and it deserves to be on television more often too, it's way better than the cartoons that they show on Nickelodeon except Doug, and Rugrats (the pre Dil episodes).Overall if you love teenage sitcoms, then you'll like Taina cause it is a clean laid back show and my little sister actually uses to watch this show and it deserves to be on everyday.

Taina's not just for pre-teens, I'm 14 and know lot's of 14 year olds who watch it. It is a teen show, it's on T4.I love this show. Season 2 has become way funnier along with Season 2 of As Told By Ginger. The comedy and drama put together pleases me and others alot.

The show itself is good I myself think that we will be seeing your name in the lights.Your just a beautiful,beautiful girl talented great personality that could get you where you want. So keep up the good work ma I'll keep watching.

I just watched the Pilot(I taped it) and it seems like it will be a pretty good Nick show. Christina Vidal plays the lead role as Taina(duh). She is a freshman in a Performing Arts Highschool in NYC(woo baby!!). She daydreams and has a very very strong desire to become famous(as do I in some respects). Being that I only have one episode to go on this is all I can give you. Christina has a very good singing voice as shown in the series(we'll get to hear more of it). The show will basically give you Taina's journey through life ,Highschool and her quest for fame. I can't really comment much on the other characters but I did notice Karen Fraction from My Brother and Me as the ballet instructor. I'll hijack Ebert and give it a thumb up.***a little sidenote** Christina Vidal has lived Taina's life to an extent being that she is also a NYer(woo !!) and she also went to a performing arts highschool. I hope people can latch themselves onto this series because it is very good.
