No certain vote yet. Just felt I had to chime in.Love series like this with interesting plot changes, but what keeps bugging me is that Tim DeKay is playing an FBI agent that's not on top of the facts... again. Very reminiscent of White Collar. Also the addition of the SciFi computer assistant is a bit over the top. Not really needed for the story. But apart from that, still worth watching.
... View MoreThis show is just smart, breathtaking show. I can I agree with few other comments that it is just like a book one's coming addicted to. The chemistry between characters is more than amazing. It is one of the best TV-series I've seen lately. When I am done with each episode I am left with a very good after-feeling. This is exactly what a good show is supposed to do! Actors play well and Second Chance kind of gives a futuristic impression not being intrusive with technologies at the same time. It is still not known yet if the show would be renewed for the second season and I am still hoping for a second chance. I understand that FOX might see itself busy with other shows that it might evaluate higher for one or another reason. You won't regret. I give it 10 out of 10.
... View MoreI have enjoyed all episodes of this show so far. They seem to make the implausible plausible, and the other high-tech gadgets are interesting. Can't see how Alexa's storyline really fits in, however. Also difficult to see that if Lookinglass is a Microsoft or Apple-like company, releasing tech to the world, why are they the only ones using the gee-whiz stuff? I also really like the way they costume the women on this show. Very chic. Alexa's vintage- style robe as seen on the 3/10 episode was to die for. Does anyone know how I can contact someone at the show to find out where they got it? The only costumers they have listed in IMDb are those for the first episode.
... View MoreWhen I read the plot line I wasn't overly enthralled, just figured I'd give it a go. So glad I did. There are some really interesting characters here, most of whom are deliciously flawed, with interesting relationships and interactions between them. Visually pleasing, an interesting extension of technology and software that we already take for granted (and the slightly darker big brother aspect to it with the developers using it for their own ends without conscience) is a believable near future that makes the more esoteric sci-fi storyline feel more natural. The plot for the first episode was a bit 'seen it before', but I think a necessary lack of invention in order to establish the story and give us an immediate understanding of the prime characters. I expect the plots will thicken up nicely.I'm really looking forward to seeing how this develops; early days but has serious potential, for me, the best show so far this year and I'm eager to see more.
