I find myself constantly going back to Cameron Crowe's "Roadies" to feel the feels and the characters that I love. Crowe's show peaked with he final episodes, and for all of you who are on the edge of your seat for what comes next... write Showtime and ask why there isn't another season? With a show this good, we can't give up too easily. I loved every character and all the fine actors... more please? And did Reg and Kelly Ann end up together?????? What do you think? I'm not sure. That's one of the reasons I want to see more!
... View MoreReally hoping showtime picks up the second season. This is a show we waited for and counted on every Sunday. My wife and I are both 50 and loved how this connected our youth and tied it in with both comedy, drama and excellent writing. If you want to witness the ups and downs of a rock n roll tour from an unusual point of view as well as be entertained, then this is the show for you. The character development left plenty of twists and turns, yet not so over the top that it is unbelievable. This is very important to me as I watch shows I want to have it be believable. We loved it!!!!!
... View MoreThis show is awesome, it;'s about people and their relationships with their music. I really like it because Roadies are quirky people and this band has plenty of them, hilarious too. I am not a "Reviewer" I am a guy who loves music and I believe if you love music you feel it, you become a part of it, you just don't listen. It doesn't need to be historically correct or perfect nothing ever is, life certainly isn't. More than that though I relate to the people, all of them are flawed.....but they all have a heart and that is what makes watching this fun. I love the music and the bands...."Song of the Day" has turned out to be a highlight of this show IMO and I look forward to it. The stupid pranks and jokes reminds me of my younger days when I could get away with it. Regardless of what anyone says Episode 8 "The All Night Bus Ride" is how a story is told, with some original footage from the Stones concert that you can find on You Tube. As a rock and roller and a fan of everything rock, I thought that episode was great. This show may not be for everyone most shows aren't but I have a feeling that this show will be with us for a while. That is good news.
... View MoreI watched every episode until now (S01E08) and I fell in love with it. Some people may say it's a slow beginning but I didn't feel that. Imogen Poots delivers a fantastic drive into the characters right away and I just digged it from the first minute. I read so many crap about the series and about critics who say that it's not accurate to the actually jobs of roadies and so on...of course not. I'ts TV....it's entertainment! I really hope Grey's Anatomy, ER, CSI, and every other show you can think of are not the standards for how it works in those jobs either.I really hope that there is more to come and hopefully some more seasons. If you like new music there is another plus for you! Real Artists are playing real music. What's not to love!?!
