This show is not your typical crime drama. It relies on the charismatic relationship of the two main leads. Police detective Jane Rizzoli and medical examiner Dr. Maura Isles are strong powerful and smart women. It is nice to see a show based around two women taking the lead with males as the supporting cast. They have done a great job with casting as well. They have a lovely family dynamic and own their roles.The cases they focus on are interesting but certainly not the main part of the show. I feel that it is best described as a drama with a crime theme. So if you enjoy that sort of genre then it is perfect for you. The story lines are clever but not too heavy. There is a fun undertone with a comedic air. Overall everything is working well to make it an entertaining show.

I so enjoy this series!! I have read most of the Rizzoli & Isles books written by Tess Gerritsen, & although I loved the books, I love the TV series better. These women are perfect for their roles - Angie is awesome as Jane Rizzoli & she is tough & confident while being somewhat vulnerable. And Sasha makes a great Moira Isles, I love her sense of style & the funny facts that burst out in random moments is hilarious. In the books, Jane ends up marrying FBI Agent Gabriel Dean and they have a beautiful little baby girl who is extremely demanding lol! And Moira is involved with a priest that always leaves her after their time together feeling worthless and longing for him to come back. Casey is nice & they look happy together but I would like to see Jane finally get together with Gabriel :)

Rizolli&Isles is detective series.Jane Rizolli is a detective.She is masculine,brave,successful and sportive..She lives in Boston,ABD.She loves her job.She is only female murder squad in Boston.Her father's job is plumber and her mother's job is housewife.Her childhood was very bad.So,she was making a decision: in the future,she must be a detective .And now her dreams come true.Other side Maura Isles is a forensic doctor.She is very successful in her job. She is well-groomed and very elegance also.She loves read a book.She's philosophy of life : 'Never lose your sense of doubt!'.Her family is very rich.Her childhood was very interesting.Her family understanding their child.She has got bad relationship with men.Because her job is very different.So,many men are afraid of her.But regardless,she loves her job very much.Jane and Maura are close friend.Both are very contrasting.Nevertheless, this has not prevented the companionship.They love each other very much.They are very smart in their field.They are combining intelligence.So,they are solve all events.On Thursday at 21.00 Rizolli and Isles shows in Cnbc-e.If you didn't watch first and second episodes,it's not problem.Because easy to adapt.Each chapter takes 1 hour.In one hour,they are finds murder or murders.And solve: who did it ?It's so excited.You can watch if you love detective stories.Sometimes I don't like Rizolli.Because she sometimes doesn't recognize of clues.Nevertheless this series has high quality..

Rizzoli & Isles is a great old time detective family show ...only with two beautiful intelligent females. Brilliant detective work performed by a female detective with a dry "cop" sense of humor and a hilarious female medical examiner who scares off men by diagnosing their illnesses while out on a date built into a great detective murder mystery program!! Someone has finally come out with a nice, clean wholesome show that can be enjoyed by the whole family.No sloppy sex scenes, no filthy mouths with bleeped out words...Just a very enjoyable murder mystery program!!!
